Lucy was responsive answering my many questions and also provided samplers of the chosen colors. The power wash and painting went smoothly and they did an excellent job. "First, an estimate was given to us, then the work was scheduled.  They came on time, worked well, cleaned up, were careful around my garden, and were extremely professional.   They guarantee their work.  (In fact, they had already repainted our south-facing porch after 2 years, for nothing!)  We have used them several times.  The first time they came for a full house painting, so they also did a pressure wash, then waited two days before painting, so all the water would be gone.They always send someone to inspect the work the day after, and to see that you are satisfied with the work.  When we first had them come to paint our home, they also offered the services of a color consultant, to help us choose the right color.  This person was also wonderful!  (In fact, we had the consultant back for an interior paint consultation!)  An excellent company, all around!"

"Jay did a great job on our projects which were a large concrete patio, a large concrete platform for a garden shed, and a small platform for garbage cans. He had good suggestions about handling the slope of our back and side yards. He and his crew were always punctual in showing up. The crew worked hard and did a great job. After we get our garden shed set up, we want them back to put in a concrete walkway from the driveway, through the gate, and to the backyard. I would highly recommend using them. We thought their prices were very reasonable."

I'm sorry to say that it was disorganized and a real debacle for about 10 days trying to get Ace Roofing to actually come and repair the roof, once I gave them 1/2 of the payment. First, I was told that they would be there at the latest on one day--and no one called to let me know that the day had been changed. I had to call their office to find out that no one was going to show up that day. Then they gave me another day and said that the materials would be delivered---that afternoon for repair the next day. The materials were delivered onto my roof. And no one showed up the following day to do the repair. Then finally it was supposed to be done on a Saturday (about 3 days later), the crew showed up and John showed up and they found that apparently the wrong shingles had been delivered. Then John left and the crew that was there threw all of the wrong shingles off the roof onto my front yard and someone came and picked up the wrong shingles. I then had to wait for 3 more days for the correct shingles to be delivered and the final repair to be completed. I was able to talk to their Office Manager and get them to make a cost accommodation adjustment for all the trouble that I incurred (I had taken my dog to daycare on each of the 3 days on which I thought the repair would happen and rearranged my schedule because I work from my home--and cannot be on a conference call while the roof is being repaired because of the noise). They did make a cost accommodation which I feel was the least that they could do.

Last, I tried multiple times to get a warranty (in writing) for the work on my roof. I called Sheila, their office manager, I called John Wood, the original Ace Roofing sales person who approached me, and I emailed the owner of the company Aaron Clough multiple times. These contacts happened over the course of September to October 2014 (the roof was finally repaired on 8/11/14). I did not receive one call or email in response to my queries to get a written warranty for the work performed on my roof. At this point I do not have a written warranty and I doubt I will ever get one. I was very disappointed in my experience with Ace Roofing. It seems that as soon as I paid them for the work completed--I no longer was worth responding to. Unfortunately, I would say that their customer service is pretty much non-existent and I would not recommend others to this company because I wouldn't want someone else to have to suffer through the problems I experienced.
