"We had the company come out after we had a flood in our basement. They leveled the concrete and sealed the area and we never had a water issue again. They cleaned the area and you never would have known they were there. We even were sent a video of the job! Very impressed and highly recommend"

"I contacted Bernals Concrete on June 2 for an estimate and today June 5 the job is done! Quick response quality work and great crew. Juan and Jorge did outstanding work on my 12x22 concrete pad. Very clean lines and left the job site clean when they were done. They will be who I call for my next project. Also very affordable! Thanks guys!"

"Project: replace and widen a 32' concrete walkway from front porch to curb and replace a shorter flagstone path with concrete. Arnold explained everything well before, during, and after the project. He and his crew were very polite, friendly, and efficient over two very hot days. After the concrete cured, the cleanup phase (particularly removal of loose clods of concrete) could have been better. For the money, I'm a happy customer and would recommend them."

"Jake at Mudrock Concrete is an artist with his patterned concrete work. He did 2 patios for us, in different styles, and both are beautiful. He was very tuned in to what we wanted. Jake does his designs by hand -- not stamped -- so every job is unique. We were very happy with the results!"

"I looked at several businesses to raise my existing rear concrete patio. By far & away, I hired Leveled LLC. Ryan is small busi owner and very accountable, very affordable. Avoid Groundworks - their quote was 3 times higher. RYAN (the busi owner) is polite, on time and experienced! thank you Leveled LLC!"

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Most states and municipalities don’t require concrete mudjacking companies to carry a specific license, but they usually need to have a general contractor’s license, and they should be fully insured. The only exception is if the mudjacking company provides foundation repairs as well, or if it offers mudjacking for home foundations. In that case, they will typically need a foundation repair contractor’s license. You can check state requirements and then use Angi’s license lookup tool to confirm that a company is properly licensed to provide mudjacking services in your area.

Charges correlate with surface size, settlement depth, and access, often yielding significant savings over concrete replacement.

A good slump height really depends on the project, but there is a use for nearly all slump levels. For example, low slumps are best in projects that require structure, such as curbs and roads. High slumps often require additional reinforcement, but they flow more freely into hard-to-reach spaces.

A slurry of cement, sand, and water is injected beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it.

Yes, expanding foam (also known as polyurethane foam) can lift concrete. This approach, called polyjacking, involves injecting the foam rather than concrete slurry to fill voids and raise the concrete slab back into place. It’s often faster and requires smaller drill holes than traditional mudjacking, though it may come at a higher cost. Some contractors also prefer polyjacking over mudjacking for more damaged and delicate slabs.
