"I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with them. From start to finish, their communication was great, they kept me informed every step of the way and were always quick to respond whenever I had questions or concerns. Any issues that came up were handled promptly and professionally, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The team was not only highly skilled, but also incredibly friendly and respectful. They clearly took pride in the quality of their work. The end result exceeded my expectations, and I’m absolutely thrilled with my new bathroom. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and top-quality remodeling services."

"Marco arrived on time, I showed him what needed to be done, He gave me an estimate and a time to replace. He got the valve replaced quicker than expected and showed me exactly how it was done. Oh, and the estimate was less than 1/2 of what I received from other plumbers! Outstanding service and cost!!! Don’t call anyone else, call No limits Plumbing & Drains for all your plumbing needs!!!"

"Great Job--highly recommended. They installed a gas line extension for my new kitchen range. When I asked for an estimate, they showed up on-time and walked me through the various aspects of my job. Bid was less than competitors and was based on the work to be done and not some set rate for "the standard kitchen range extension job" like other companies. For the job itself, they got in, quickly got to work, adapted the game plan when things turned out a little different than initial expectations, and completed the job on time with a high level of craftsmanship. I could not be happier with the result!"

"Juan also had to resize the cabinets over the oven before he could install the microwave. The cabinets look great. He also had to redo the exhaust ductwork that is inside the cabinet. We also had some drywall work done in another room at the same time. It is really nice having someone who can do all of this so that we have one person who can do all the work and do it very well."

Percolation Tests questions, answered by experts

Because of the danger of inhaling asbestos fibers, figuring out through testing whether your popcorn ceiling contains asbestos is definitely worth it. If the popcorn ceiling texture has asbestos, remove it as soon as possible to keep your family safe. Any home built in or before the 1980s that has popcorn ceilings could have asbestos, necessitating testing. Asbestos carries several health risks for people who inhale it, including the increased chance of developing lung cancer in the future.

If you hire a dedicated asbestos inspector near you in addition to your local home inspector, it will cost between $200 and $800. If, however, your general home inspector happens to be certified as an asbestos inspector, they can charge you a smaller fee and tack on the cost to the home inspection. In general, home inspectors do not do physical testing, but will provide a visual assessment so you know what you are working with.

Asbestos testing takes place in two stages—collection and lab testing. Collection can take less than 20 minutes if a professional manages to get a direct sample. If air samples are required, then the pro will set up a testing device and return to collect it. In both cases, the sample is sent to a lab and results are confirmed or denied usually within one to two days.

Even a single, one-time exposure to asbestos can be harmful and pose health risks. According to the EPA, any contact can increase the risk of developing asbestos-related diseases and certain types of cancer, although the likelihood of severe health issues increases with repeated or prolonged exposure.

The severity of a single exposure depends on factors like the duration, intensity, and concentration of the asbestos fibers. While a small amount is less likely to cause significant damage, a high concentration can lead to serious long-term lung damage. Individual reactions vary, and asbestos-related illnesses may not appear for 10 to 40 years after inhalation.

Given these risks, always take precautions around any material suspected to contain asbestos. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may not be completely effective. If you suspect asbestos is in your home, hire a professional for testing and removal. If you are worried about a potential exposure, consult your doctor.

There are products that still contain asbestos, but they were typically installed decades ago. Common places where you may still find asbestos-containing materials are in siding, wrapped around ductwork, in older appliances (i.e., stove and gravity furnaces), and in floors. Asbestos was primarily used as an insulator, so anywhere in an older home where you lose heat is where you will most likely find asbestos.
