"Lloyd was a true professional and did exceptionally detailed work stripping the peeling coat and resurfacing our tub to a wonderful lustrous shine. He was available within 2 days magically. It was easy to see it was tough work, and we would have been up a creek if we tried to do it ourselves without his professional skillset. Lloyd took special attention on high-powered ventilation for the very pungent coating materials. Additionally, he pointed issues with the existing tub that could lead to future issues if proper care is not taken. I came away from his work being much more informed on how to make the new surface last. I would recommend him for your tub resurfacing without hesitation - we would hire him again."

The sales person, Randy, helped us figure out what we wanted in an initial consultation. The office crew (Kaylee, Ann) ordered everything and kept us up to date on delivery schedules. The project manager, Justyn, coordinated the work on site as soon as all the materials were available. RenewHome's plumber, Scott, and assistant Jonathan were in and out in a few hours. Two alternatives to reglazing are installing a bathtub inlay or a bathtub liner. An inlay is a low-priced mat that adheres to the bottom of a bathtub or shower. It’s useful for sealing minor leaks and concealing damage on the bottom of a tub. On the other hand, a bathtub liner is essentially a protective casing that goes over the entire tub. They are usually custom-fit and cost more than reglazing yet don’t last as long.

Most homeowners need to wait at least two days, sometimes three, to use their bathtub following the reglazing process. That’s the normal length of time it takes for epoxy resin to cure. There are quick-dry epoxy kits available that cure in 12 hours, though. To ensure that the epoxy dries properly, try to ventilate the bathroom as well as you can.
