I have used Lakewood Plumbing twice in the past six months. I was very pleased with the customer service and the work was well done and done quickly. They even came out in a snow storm which was appreciated.

AVOID this company. Lakewood plumbing could not find the issue after 2 visits and 2 different plumbers. The 2nd plumber, Matt, was very dismissive and rude. Carson Wells of Quality First Services then came to our condo to diagnose and repair a water leak from the unit above ours. He very quickly found the source of the leak and repaired it in the same visit. He was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.

Spent $2760 on an installation of two motors in a condo unit on July 28th. It is now ONLY November 14th and the "NEW" motors are making the SAME NOISE as before. I just called to get a technician out to check on their work and was informed I would be charge a diagnostics fee. WOW...NEVER AGAIN. Feel ripped off and hope no one else has to deal with their horrible service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They came for 5 minutes and then left. It's been a very bad experience with this company. They are no longer returning my calls. They are very expensive. I've been calling and trying to speak with a supervisor but they don't call me back. The guy who came out to do the work wasn't very friendly.

I bought a tankless water heater from them, and it short cycling.They came to check it out. I have had some other issues with the thankless water heater. They've been very good about dealing with it with warranty.

? They were very informative and described in detail what needed to be done at every step.

My furnace wasn't working so I contacted a couple HVAC providers I had used in the past. The first available opening they had was two days away. My family members told me that they had used Lakewood Plumbing in the past and had been happy with their work. My daughter contacted them and was told someone would be out about 1230, but moved that time to 2:00 after the tech had an emergency at his home. I became a bit leery after reading reviews about no call/no shows and was hoping I wouldn't be one of those casualties. However, at almost 2:00 Chad was ringing my doorbell! It took him about 30 minutes to clean the flame sensor and secure my thermostat to the wall. He was very professional and honest. I'm sure I'll be calling this company again for future work.

It was a Big Deal purchase. They were good. There was an additional charge and we paid a total of $300. This was our first time using them. They were able to come out ASAP.

They did a wonderful job.  The staff members that came out were great.  Their price was reasonable.  It was in fact very good.

They were nice, and it seemed to go well at first, but they installed it with a plastic seal, which didn't hold, and now I'm up to $10K in mold removal and restoration!

We started off on the wrong foot. The original technician did not do a good job. I contacted the owner off the company and he came out to inspect the work. He agreed with me that the work was not up to standard. He had an other technician come out to fix the heater unit properly, with out additional cost. I have been happy with the results.

In about 20 minutes after I called  Lakewood Plumbing, Bryan Stiles, who had installed the boiler, arrived and went to work.  He replaced the L8148E in about 40 minutes.  I provided the OEM part.  No more buzzing -- nice and quiet.

After scheduling an appointment within 2 days, they failed to meet the appointment and failed to call to let us know.  We found out just before closing by calling them.  Not sure if their hourly rate is normal but I'd suggest finding that out first before purchasing any "deal" in the future if additional work is expected to be done.  Technician that performed the work was very professional and friendly.

They were very professional and came when I needed them. They kept working until they found the source of the leak. They were great. They fit my daughter in, came, and diagnosed the problem immediately. They’re the ones I call for anything.

Had them clear out our main line.  The technician came the same day we called and explained exactly what he did and what had caused the problem.  When we found a small leak at the point where he had accessed the line, he came back and took care of it right away.

They’re really good.  Everybody was giving us like $10,000 estimates. Lakewood came in and told us that we don’t need new controls, we just need a new furnace because the controls were working. They gave us an estimate of about $5,000-6,000 which was a lot better than everybody else was doing. They did an excellent job. I’ve had them back a couple of times to do some plumbing. I would definitely recommend them. It was not a simple furnace so he basically made me a really good deal on that furnace. He didn’t sell me stuff I didn’t need. They’re honest people and that’s what stood out to me the most.

I hired Lakewood Plumbing to install a high efficiency heating boiler.  The installation was a bit sloppy but worked.  A few months later I had them install a hot water heater driven by the boiler. After installation of the hot water heater, we had heat in our kitchen in the summertime.  The method used by Lakewood was not factory approved and allowed heat from the boiler to enter  our heating system, even when it was not supposed to.  When I contacted Lakewood about this, they wanted $900 to correct their installation error.  Only after I pointed out to Lakewood that as a lawyer I would not hesitate to use the courts to force them to correct the installation did they agree to do so at no cost.
 
 In winter, 2012 one of the zone valves failed.  This was not Lakewood's fault.  I engaged an expert in hot water heating approved by the manufacturer of the boiler to repair the problem.  He showed me the place in the factory installation manual I had received from Lakewood that showed how my system was to be installed.  Lakewood had installed it backwards, in that the heating water was pumped to the boiler, not away.  This error could cause premature failure of the boiler.  Further, the zone valve design Lakewood had used was more complicated and failure prone than need be.  Lakewood had failed to analyze the exhaust gas when installing the boiler, so it was set to operate at sea level, not mile high air pressure -- another possible cause of premature failure.
I paid the factory approved expert $2200 to correct the installation.  Had Lakewood done it right in the first place, it actually would have cost them less in labor and materials.

Everything was terrific.

We had a great experience with them. The technician that came out was really knowledgeable and was able to take care of everything.

They were prompt with the work performed as well as giving the estimate.
