He took the appropriate measurements and provided a detailed estimate a few days later (which included testimonials from prior customers). Once we selected him (from the 3 estimates we obtained) we scheduled the work at a time convenient for both parties. When the time came, the painter he sent, Keith Foskey, did a great job. "This was a tough job- I had IMPOSSIBLE wallpaper that was not only expensive but soooo tough to hangâ ¦.. a combined material of wood and paper that was ridiculously hard to work with. Ivan was amazing- patient and skillful and got it done! Another paper in another room was not the color I saw on the internet and even though it was the wrong color I thought I would try to paint over the grass cloth because I couldnâ t return it anyway. He painted and sponged to make it fabulous!! Better than if I had the color I expected! Seriously- this guy is a precise, calm, skilled problem solver who is on time, works hard and absolutely no wasted time! I wish I could give 10 stars!"

"The main problem with this contractor is with the subcontractors they use. The flooring people were great. The remodeling and painting people were not. The workmanship was not of high quality. We have had issues with the folding closet doors they installed -- one broke within two months of installation. When they originally installed them, they didn't paint the ends of the doors, so that showed when they were open. Then, when they came back to paint them, they knocked a hole in one of them and it had to be patched. You can still see the patch. The biggest issue has been with the egress window they installed in the sitting room adjacent to the bedroom. That room has been flooded TWICE in the less than two years since the remodel. The subcontractor who installed the window well did a poor job of it. We have had to remove the engineered hardwood floor twice and pay for water remediation both times. The first time it flooded, I called the contractor to inquire about warranties (it had only been a couple of months since installation), or to at least get contact information for the subcontractor. My call was never returned. Once they were paid for the job, they had no further interest in our satisfaction. Very disappointing."
