Current promotion: 5-15% off landscape services and entry into a springtime drawing for free irrigation system turn on or garden/plant design.

"It went absolutely horrible. A blind guy could have done a better job. He botched a fence install by hiring some cheap day labor to complete it yet told us he could build a fence. He dug the holes for the fence in the wrong locations and in doing so cut a sprinkler line and the wiring to the sprinkler control box, took months to find someone who would come out and fix the issues he caused since he refused to come fix all of them. Having no sprinklers throughout the summer caused the new sod to not get the water it needed and it died and was over taken by weeds. He was hard to get a hold of and he would say he would be out but not show up any time that week. I would recommend everyone stay far far way from Backyard Bliss as our experience was nothing but a front yard frustration."

Turf Master Sod Farm is a family owned and operated Sod production business with locations in Colorado and Wyoming. We take pride in offering you a wide variety of Low water use specialty grasses as well as bluegrass and fescues. Turf Master is especially proud of the custom blends we’ve created to thrive in our harsh, arid climate. We are honored to have served both residential and commercial clients in Colorado, Wyoming, western Nebraska, eastern Utah, southern Montana and the Dakotas for over 40 years and look forward to continuing to serve our community by providing high quality, environmentally friendly sod for generations to come. Wyoming Location: 324 Ayers Rd. Wheatland, WY 82201; (866) 493-8311

"The services, from the sales rep Frank, (who cussed in front of my 3 year old, failed to respond to messages and walked off the job), to the unresponsive management and unreturned phone calls after an incomplete job leaves us without thousands of dollars and a horrible looking lawn. They did not finish the job nor offer to remediate, only stating we were “confrontational” after asking what they would do to fix the problems. Even if that was true (which it is not), the job we paid for is still not completed, confrontations or not, and that is what we paid for. New sod, not their opinions on how we handles our unhappiness with their lack of professionalism. They left an unfinished job with 100% of our money up front. They even broke our fence! Take it from us, do not do business with anyone who asks for all up front if the job isn’t complete. Sod was left out in sun on a pallet in 100 degree heat for 5+ hours dying before it was started to be installed, the ground was not properly prepped, and weeds and grass are now growing from underneath the new sod laid. They laid the sod in the wrong places. They left a mess, were unprofessional, disrespectful, and sadly did not operate in a Christian manner. We are having another local landscaper have to fix the problems, and they are shocked at the way our lawn was left by this company. Save your money and do business elsewhere. I guess turf masters does not care to help their customers. BBB will hear from us, as will Secretary of State and beyond. We are just shocked this is the way they operate."

Rototilling questions, answered by experts

A perc test takes an average of around two hours, but it can range from one hour up to around six hours. Perc tests that require wider or deeper holes and those that require multiple holes dug throughout your property will take longer because there’s more excavation involved. The actual filling of the hole and monitoring to gauge the rate of percolation should take under an hour per hole.

Not typically. A paver patio drainage problem generally requires a landscaping fix that can include a drainage pipe or dry well capable of handling the amount of runoff in your yard.

Typically 1-3 days, depending on property size and terrain condition.

The average cost to have rototilling done on your property is around $250, and most homeowners pay between $100 and $350. The total for your rototilling project will depend on the area you need tilled, the quality of the soil, how many roots and shrubs are in the area, and the accessibility of the area. Anything that increases the time to till your soil—like hard clay soil, small entrances to the area that require the use of smaller tools, and roots running through the ground—will all increase your costs.

Water pooling, uneven surfaces, or basement leaks are indicators.
