"The team did the job very quickly. They worked with our HOA to make sure that the project could both meet our needs and satisfy our very picky board. They even pushed up our project in order to help us avoid some other time crunches we were under, working on Saturday in order to help us out. They did more than just complete our project. They helped guide us through it. Furthermore, they saved us money...lots of money. They gave us a free shed pad, which ultimately saved us even more money as the shed builder could cut on the cost of flooring. They also do roofing work and provided us a bid on our old house that countered another roofer's bid, coming in at nearly half the price. That saved us thousands. There has also been a lot of communication. I know where they are, what they are doing, when they are doing it and there are no surprises. There is no question, I'll work with them again (in fact, I already have plans to). Addition: I forgot to mention how well David and his team worked with the city to get my curb and gutter cut approved. This was a large project and we've have been in trouble without approval. He was able to modify the project and work well with the city in order to get it done."

"Mostly very well. The outside of the house was done in a timely fashion once the crew got started. It turned out very nice. The kitchen had some hiccups due to paint color and sheen matching. All in all, Mike worked well with me in getting the job done, and it also turned out well."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

The best way to resurface a concrete porch is to clean and prep the surface, pour a layer of concrete on top, allow it to cure, then seal it. A concrete overlay provides a durable layer and enhances your porch's look. You can even choose a stamped overlay to make it look like stone or brick. To ensure structural integrity, repair concrete cracks before applying the new concrete. If the existing concrete is in significant disrepair, consider removing and replacing the concrete instead of an overlay.

Yes, you can seal an old concrete floor as long as you remove stains and repair damage before sealing. Remove everything from the garage and clear the floor throughout with a concrete cleaner and power washing. Fill in cracks larger than 1/8 of an inch wide and remove all grease and rust stains before sealing. Make sure your concrete is fully dried before applying sealer.

Yes, it is possible to apply a concrete coating yourself, especially for smaller applications if you have the proper equipment. However, for larger projects, a professional application is recommended to ensure durability, slip resistance, and proper adhesion.

Outdoor kitchens get wet and are sometimes next to pools. To avoid accidents, go with a non-slip material like concrete, brick, or rubber. Avoid materials like ceramic and porcelain, as they are known to be quite slippery. Wood and composite flooring can be slippery if untreated, so make sure to stain or finish these materials.

The biggest downside of sealing concrete is that it needs to be resealed every few years. This routine maintenance can be laborious if you do it yourself and expensive if you hire a professional. Beyond that, sealing concrete can make the surface slippery, which can be dangerous with people with mobility issues, young children, or those with pools near their patios.
