"Blue Bucket Cleaning did everything and more. L*** is a first class professional. She was so responsive in working with me (in Maine) to coordinate my sister's (in Aurora, CO) mouse remediation first (Terminix) and was then flexible to bring in her crew to do a DEEP CLEAN and CARPET CLEANING. My sister was happy and I was delighted. Can't thank them enough. Highly recommend. Fair pricing too."

"HUGE shout out to Kevin Dude, at Dude Dryer Vent cleaning!! We had been working with another company to come out and do a complete clean up of our dryer and vents. They never got back to us. I researched companies online near our home. I liked everything I saw on their website. Kevin is very polite and did an excellent job! He even suggested we get a rat tail brush so we could keep everything clean. Dude dryer vent cleaning, LLC 720-298-1629. [email protected], www.DudeDryerVent. com. I give this company an A+++++ rating! P.S. to prevent a fire, it is recommended that you get your dryer and vents cleaned out once a year."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Chemical herbicides will kill moss permanently. The same goes with bleach water. However, moss can start growing again once a new layer of dirt and debris is caught in your sand in paver joints. Therefore, the problem is not about killing moss permanently, but ensuring effective prevention of moss regrowth.

It may require stronger cleansers or chemicals, higher-pressure spray, or scrubbing to completely remove algae from a metal roof. Start with a mild cleanser; if that doesn’t work and you're comfortable doing so, use a stronger mix of ⅓ cup of laundry detergent, 1 quart of bleach, and 3 quarts of water to gently scrub the algae with a soft-bristled brush. If algae is present across large portions of your roof, doesn’t come off with gentle scrubbing and cleansers, or is in hard-to-reach areas, this may be a job better left to a pro.

The easiest way to remove snow from a roof involves using a roof rake that allows you to clear snow from the ground. Roof rakes are lightweight and feature adjustable handles, making them user-friendly for most people. This method also helps prevent ice dams and excess snow buildup, reducing the risk of roof damage during winter months.

When should you remove snow from your roof? A good rule of thumb is once six inches of snow accumulates.

In most cases, it is best to leave icicles on your roof and allow them to melt naturally. You should only consider removing them if they are heavy enough to cause damage to your home or pose a risk to people below. Since removing icicles can be dangerous, it is recommended to hire a professional for the job if you have immediate concerns. To prevent the issue from recurring, you should address the underlying cause, such as improving your home's insulation or installing roof heating coils.
