"This was the best experience! I really didn't want to go to any of the big national companies and the small local ones wouldn't return our calls. From the first moment to the very end, I was impressed with every step. We did have to wait 6 months from order to install, but that had a lot to do with winter months. And I received check in calls from the company to update me along the way. I never felt that I needed to check up on them. Wood clapboard siding needs frequent sealing to keep it in top condition—likely every two to three years. A sealant helps protect it from both moisture and sunlight damage. Your weather and climate will affect how often you need to seal the siding, but the pros recommend sealing it every couple of years. More durable woods in milder climates may not need to be sealed quite as often.
