Our repairs were not big, but they were ones we needed to have taken care of. I had been quoted something so elaborate by a handyman. I thought I'd try you guys and I am so glad I did. The work price to resolve this was great. Josh was timely and professional and friendly. Will use you again should a plumbing need pop up!

Excellent work overall. Josh and his partner arrived a little early, but he did call in advance for permission. He got right to work assessing what maintenance needed to be performed on my tankless water heater. Of particular concern to him, however, was the floor drain near the heater which was highly corroded. I told him about the history of the drain never adequately draining, and that Mr. Frew himself had given it a temporary fix 15 years before when the tankless water heater was installed. Josh clearly described to me what work would be required to properly fix the drain, and he provided me with an estimate for the job. Josh and his partner then performed the vinegar flush on the heater which they completed with no problems. Josh was polite and professional, and he impressed me with his knowledgeable assessment of the floor drain problem. In a final note, I have two dogs who can be a bit noisy and over-friendly, but Josh and his partner had no problem making friends with them.

Manny was the name of my A/C technician. He was polite, well-spoken, and professional. He described everything he did step-by-step as he performed the work. He worked quickly and efficiently. Before leaving he gave me some very good recommendations for additional service I should consider. I couldn't have been happier with the job he did. I should also mention that he really liked my dogs, and they liked him, too.

First of all, I had hired several plumbers before Sunshine to fix the leak. All of them did some small repair, but the people in the condo below continued to report leaking. Sunshine Plumbing searched until they found the cause--a break in a sewage line between the tub and the main, and although the pipe leaking pipe was difficult to work on, Sunshine fixed the problem! Subsequently, the people in the condo below reported a new leaking, and Sunshine investigated and found the leak was NOT from the sewage line, but was merely worn caulking around the tub. And, they charged me $0 for the service call!

This company and the employees have been amazing. Today Paul and Lorenzo replaced my AC. From the beginning communication was great, they showed up on time and were very efficient at their work. This company has replaced my furnace and multiple other repairs. I highly recommend them.

We cannot thank Tony Medina enough for his kindness, honesty, and professionalism. Our garbage disposal stopped working and we were prepared for Tony to replace it. When he arrived, he wanted to try a couple fixes before replacing it. Sure enough it was a simple fix. I've been using Sunshine for years and they are the most reasonable on cost and practical. I own a home in Denver and in Washington DC, so I've interacted with many contractors over the years. My overall experience with Sunshine was hands down the worst. It started off well, as I had them come and do plumbing work on my Denver house. Since I liked the plumber, I signed up for a 1 year maintenance deal they had that included HVAC maintenance/tuning. They came in June to do this and confirmed that our AC unit was fine. The technician (I will refrain from using his name) insisted that a Compressor Saver would help extend the life of our AC compressor. He installed this and charged us for $400+ for this. That same week, the summer heat kicked in and our AC didn't turn on anymore. The same guy who did the install came out and said that there was no power to my furnace. I tried to ask follow-up questions and all he did was insist that I pay for the service visit charge. He said it was due to wiring between the compressor and furnace. I asked if it was related to his work, because what else could it have been; he ignored and dashed out. I have several electricians come, and they ALL said the same thing - improper wiring blew out the connection between the compressor and furnace. It took them 2 days to troubleshoot and make sure there were no safety issues. They still haven't charged me for over $1000 in work, because I explained the situation to them and they felt that bad for me. Together, we called Sunshine over 5 times, and EVERY single time, the operator used a neutral, political voice to say someone would call me back but nothing ever happened. I started off very polite but got more and more frustrated, since it was a week of 90+ degrees and no AC. We finally got an appointment and then they no-show'ed. That was a Friday afternoon, and I called back many times until someone finally said that I had been rescheduled to Tuesday; no notice. That's another 4 days with no AC. Had 2 new companies come out and evaluate. To quote them, the previous work was "fishy and not best practice." Avoid Sunshine at ALL costs. My name is Allen Qiu. Love, love, love this company. Communication is terrific. Lorenzo showed up right on time both days and worked efficiently. No mess was left and the new humidifier looks great. They had to install a new outlet which I thought would be difficult but they made look easy. Would not hesitate to hire this company in the future.

Awful - I had one broken vent that wouldn’t shut off - they charged my $2,100 to repair it and in the process broke every zone in my house and now the whole HVAC system is broken and they won’t fix it. I had one broken vent before their “repair” now I have 15 that don’t work and they won’t fix the damage they caused. Worst home repair service experience imaginable - the operatic state of our HVAC system is 10 times worse than before they came here and they won’t take my calls or help. The owner emailed and wished me luck finding someone else to fix what they broke. DON’T EVEN CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY.

Plumber was professional and courteous. The project ended up being bigger than originally thought as had to replace a small run of galvanized piping. However, the plumber seemed like he did his best to lay out all the options and to come to the most affordable solution while taking care of the problem.

Very well. The plumbers were thorough and knowledgeable. In addition to servicing the water heater, they checked all the faucets in the house.

Technician arrived ahead of schedule and provided estimate. He reinstalled the disposal and was finished in 15 minutes.

Sunshine installed our boiler a few years ago and we have had them do the maintenance ever since. They are among the most knowledgeable, honest, and professional companies that we have ever worked with. We are customers for life.

All went well! A bit pricey in my opinion but you get what you pay for it seems. If our budget allows will totally use them again!

Old furnace had to go (was freezing when AC was on) so I got a new install of both furnace and AC condensing unit. During installation the tech (Lorenzo) discovered that one of the returns wasn't even connected to the return port on the furnace! No wonder my upstairs was so hot/cold relative to the rest of the house! It seems the builders who flipped the apartments into the condo that I now own, never connected it! Lorenzo installed some flex tubing to make that connection. In addition, another intake pulled air through an under-stair closet which is not ideal if your closet if full of junk! Lorenzo built a robust wooden duct support to connect the furnace intake vent in the closet to the external vent in the living room - fixing that long-standing problem. I really appreciated the technical analysis of my particular issues with various options to address those. Great job!

Had to also replace a small run of galvanized pipe, last run left in the house, so the cost went up due to this unforeseen issue. However the technician was fair and seemed like he tried to give me the best deal possible. He was courteous, professional, and friendly. Since the spigot was replaced we have noted slightly less pressure in the spigot, hard to tell if it is due to the change to the new pex piping or not. Otherwise it looks good and works perfectly. The have a warranty on the work so I feel secure that if there is an issue they will fix it.
