"We would like to thank Affordable Radon Services LLC for the work that was done in our home for radon remediation. Authur and Jose did an amazing job and were very professional the work looks amazing but what is even better the radon is now at a great and healthy level. For months and maybe the past 2 years we felt drained of energy so we started looking into what could potentially cause low levels of energy for us but also seemed to be impacting our overall health. We live in Commerce City Colorado - Nick came out and set up the initial radon tester and site survey a day later he came back and gave us the results very high 8.7 and dangerous levels. He made some recommendations with the barrier seal and plan for the remediation. A few days later Jose and Authur showed up early in the morning and we could not be happier with the excellent work done. Radon level is now below 1.0 and energy levels have returned to normal, we feel healthier, can breathe and get better rest. Thanks again"

"Tony and his team were great! They were very professional and had the project completed sooner than we expected. They enclosed entire crawl space with protective lining and also put in a floor drain. Looks great! We did not get any other estimates so unsure how price compares. Very happy with the company!"

"Jim came sooner then expected. Look at the fithy drain and gave a reasonable estimate. Stating if he didn't have it finished in about an hour then he would have to come back and do more extensive work.
My drain was clogged with debris from recent construction and pack in the very well. Jim started and was done before I had time to question it.
He made sure the drain was working and the were no debris holing anything up.He clean my mess and his mess, very tidy.
Jim came in was very professional and polite. He talk in a manner that I understood and not professional jargon. Very tidy in appearce and work.

French Drains questions, answered by experts

Biodegradable drain cleaners use naturally derived ingredients, such as baking soda, vinegar, and boiling water, which bacteria and other microbes can break down. Unlike conventional cleaners that rely on corrosive bleach (sodium hydroxide), biodegradable options are gentler on fixtures and less harmful to the environment. Because they don't release harmful gasses, they are also safer to use, especially in households with children, and do not require the same safety precautions as bleach-based products.

For homes with a septic tank, harsh chemicals like those found in drain cleaner or bleach aren’t recommended. Some chemical drain cleaners can disrupt the balance of bacteria in the septic tank or damage your pipes. For homes with a septic tank, you can choose drain cleaners specifically formulated for use with septic tanks or go with a drain snake. When in doubt, make sure you know who to call for a clogged drain

Usually it’s fine to leave a toilet clogged overnight, as long as it’s not close to overflowing. In some cases, the extra time may give the clog time to work itself out. For example, if it’s caused by an excess of toilet paper, letting it sit could result in the clog dissolving and you may be able to simply flush it away by the time you wake up.

Only let it sit though if you have more than one toilet in the home.

To keep window wells from filling up with water, you need to stay on top of maintenance. Remove debris as it fills up, and regularly loosen the gravel at the base if it’s become compacted. You can also reslope your yard to make sure water flows away from the window well (and your home’s foundation), and you can even install a window well cover to prevent debris from building up. Installing an actual drainpipe at the base of the well can also prevent window well drainage problems.

No, it is not advisable to spray pesticides down the drain in your home. Most drinking water and wastewater treatment systems are not properly equipped to remove pesticides. Should pesticides infiltrate waterways, they can cause harm to plants, fish, or other living things. In most areas, pouring pesticides down the drain is illegal due to the potential harm it causes.
