"I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service, but they did not really do any work yet. I am still deciding whether to replace the sink. They were nice, professional and honest during our consultation. The person who came out was a young guy; he was not Mr. C, but he worked for him. He told me he had been in plumbing for about nine or 10 years. I will call them back when I decide to put in new countertops and a sink."

"I was super impressed with Rocky Mountain services. They showed up after their normal business hours because I was freaking out.. my furnace went out all of a sudden and my house was freezing to the point I was afraid the pipes would freeze. No one else answered the phone but Rocky Mountain services answered right away and came out immediately. They got the heat back on that same night. I’d highly recommend them to family and friends. Infact, they’re coming back in the spring to install an AC unit for our house before summer. Super excited!!!"

"On the first visit, it was a simple fix underneath the sink.  Work was completed to my satisfaction.  The second visit that week, the problem was identified, however, I made the choice to not have it fixed due to cost.
In both cases, I was pleased with the response and evaluation of the problem(s).

"Val did an outstanding job. He is proficient, thorough, did this job with ease. My husband thought we could replace a toilet ourselves after viewing a you-tube video. We do not have these skills... The first thing Val did is to shut off the water. That was rusted, then leaking!!!. OMG I was grateful we hire a true professional. Val, The Flying Plumber was outstanding!!! We would highly recommend him for any job. I am very happy to report my marriage is still intact. My husband was also very happy that I hired a plumber. We love Val, and he will now be our plumber of choice!!!! Great guy and great work. Ask him how he named his company. He is amazing.... Thank You, Val. Pat Carlson Effland."

"Within three weeks all of the above work was completed. ....once the job started, work went quickly. Chris, the general contractor , frequently checked on my job and sincerely wanted to know how things were going. He didn't seem rushed and updated me at every meeting. The sub-contractors Chris hired were professional, friendly, arrived on time, worked full days and inspired my confidence. Jeremy Moore installed my floors and Michael and Nathan did the other work. All three are knowledgable and creative artisans. I've been recommending Colorado Bathrooms Inc to everyone and would definitely use them again! My "old" kitchen is located in my old house, so hopefully I'll be seeing them again soon!

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Some of the most common plumbing problems in mobile homes are frozen pipes, leaking pipes, clogged drains, and low pressure. Since the pipes in a mobile home aren’t as insulated as those in a standard build, they’re more susceptible to fluctuating temperatures and damage.

Yes, you can use flexible pipe for a sink drain. Flexible pipes can make it easier to fit sink plumbing together with less measuring and fewer cuts. However, corrugated flexible pipe can trap hair, grease, and food particles in the folds and cause foul odors and eventually build up enough to clog the drain. Smooth pipes are recommended for sink drains and plumbing.

Undermount sinks have clips that attach to the countertop, but they have pros and cons. They are heavier than drop-in sinks, so they only work with sturdy countertops like natural stone and are a more expensive option. You might need someone to help you install the sink, depending on its weight.

If you find moisture under your sink, you can clean up the worst of it with paper towels or regular towels. Then, leave the cabinet doors open to allow air circulation. You can also place a fan or dehumidifier near the cabinet to help dry it out a little quicker.

There are few things more annoying than trying to fall asleep only to be woken up by the sound of a dripping faucet. If the faucet drips when the water is off, it probably has a loose or damaged seat washer. The screw gets loose from repeated use, making the faucet drip. With outdoor faucets, this is more common in the summer when people are using it more often to water the garden or cool off. Disassembling the faucet and tightening or replacing the seat washer and screw can get the dripping to stop.
