John was very creative in coming up with a solution for our 800 sq ft cabin that did not previously have central heating. He was able to convert a very small closet to the furnace closet and came up with good options for distributing the air throughout the house that were not too impactful to the minimal space we had. The installation work itself was completed on schedule and with high quality. They were also able to meet are request for remote control of the thermostat, they have a good understand of new technologies in the industry. Lindsay in the office is great to work with on scheduling. The best part of the project has been the service after the install. We're doing a major remodel and were not able to complete some of the system after the install due to other work we have going on. Even though I've already paid in full they have been very contentious about following up with me to see when they can come out and complete the final steps. Really great service! Out of all the contractors we bid, they had the best solution for replacing our old attic fan (think airplane propeller) with a more efficient, non-leaking (no heat back into the house from the attic) dual fan. Their bid was competitive for the air sealing and attic insulation. When an issue arose that required an additional drywall opening they took care of it without issue and fixed it up as good as new. Passed City electrical inspection without issue. We had used an energy audit provided by Excel/Lightly Treading to guide the improvements we made. And with these improvements we saw a decrease in the summer of 10 degrees in the upper level of the house helping to maximize our comfort level. We were able to go with minimal use of air conditioning the summer of 2011 as a result."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/co/boulder/eco-handyman-reviews-2321708.htm"},"position":10}]}

Everything went very well. The provider had problems with his service van that day but still showed up later in the day to replace the part on our furnace. He apologized for the delay and was very professional. He only charged me half the cost of the service call. It was one of the best...

FAQs for heating oil service projects in Bayfield, CO
To buy heating oil for your house, contact local heating oil companies to compare prices and place an order once you decide on a supplier. The company will have to deliver your heating oil in a truck designed to carry and dispense heating oil safely. Call and order your heating oil early enough to have your oil delivered before you need to start using it for home heating.
On average, you’ll need about two gallons of oil per day to heat your house when it’s 50 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Most oil tank capacity is about 275 gallons, and heating your house with two gallons of oil per day will last about four and a half months. This consumption will vary depending on the climate and average temperature in your location. For example, if the winters are longer and colder where you live, you’ll probably need to refill your oil tank at least once to get through the winter.
You save money on heating oil in a few ways:
Make sure your home is well insulated and sealed against drafts and heat leakage.
Use a thermostat that’s working properly and calibrated accurately.
Program your thermostat to lower the heat when you’re not home.
Order heating oil during the off-season when prices are likely to be lower.
Summer months tend to be when heating oil prices are lowest because of decreased demand. Buying heating oil during the off-season also prepares you for when the weather gets cold, and you need to start using the oil to heat your home. Although heating oil prices will fluctuate, it’s best to avoid purchasing between September and April, as that's the peak season for heating oil demand.
Overall, heating your home with an oil furnace tends to be less expensive than heating your home with an electric heating system. Oil heating systems stay warm for longer periods of time without drawing a constant electrical current to maintain a temperature. Plus, heating oil systems typically have a longer lifespan and lower price tag than their electrical counterparts, resulting in short- and long-term savings.
