"Michael, Clinton and Chris have been awesome! They installed an A/C unit with our existing furnace. We had a few bumps along the way but they are trustworthy and willing to go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy! They are always on time and professional. Would recommend them to anyone needing Heating and Air Services."

"I had 8 inches of snow on my driveway and needed to leave my home to get to work (healthcare). I frantically started reaching out to Snow Removal Service companies and Brandon was the first to return my message (in less than 10 minutes). Fortunately, he had a crew in town who was able to come to my home and shovel me out. The two team members were professional, efficient, and very friendly. Five star rating for Advanced Gutters … I highly recommend them!"

"Michael kept me informed by text of his arrival time. He found that the crack in my foundation was just on the surface, not all the way through. He said my cracked garage floor could be supported by injected polyurethane and recommended a company that could do that. He told me about a grated trench? that could drain the water that sits in front of my garage, freezes, and has badly damaged the apron. Michael has been very helpful already."

"After hiring a larger more well known company who literally did nothing but charge me for time and travel, I was able to find Andrew on Angi’s. Not only did he clear the main, but he installed a new clean out. Andrew is very personable and communicates well. He explained what needed to be done, stuck to the plan, and charged a fraction of what the larger company wanted to. I can’t recommend Andrew/A1 enough. Hire him by all means if your job meets his skill set."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Although linear drains allow water to flow quickly and efficiently, they tend to clog more easily than traditional drains. Linear drains are flush with the shower floor, allowing soap scum and hair to potentially build up. They’re also longer than other drains, allowing for more space to let debris fall into the drainpipe.

It is safe to flush small amounts of bleach down the toilet. Don’t flush more than ¼ cup of bleach. Instead, consider diluting it and pouring it down the sink drain.

Drain pipes carry wastewater from sinks, toilets, showers, and other fixtures to the main sewer line. They’re typically located within the walls and floors and beneath a home’s foundation. Meanwhile, sewer pipes transport collected wastewater to a septic tank or a municipal sewer system.

With a one-way cleanout, you can access your sewer line from one direction. Depending on the way it curves, a plumber can either access the side of the pipe that goes into your home or the side that goes to your yard. On the other hand, two-way cleanouts allow pros to access both sides of the sewer line, thanks to their dual-pipe design (they’re usually U-shaped).

A bit of water in the bowl can help unclog a toilet, especially if you're using a plunger. However, if the bowl is full to the brim, you'll need to strap on gloves and remove some of the wastewater in a cup or container so it doesn't overflow when you try to unblock the pipe. If you're concerned about it filling further, manually close the flapper in the toilet tank or turn off the water supply to the toilet.
