"Jessie was a true professional. He arrived on time, got us our quote within the day. Followed up to see if we had questions in a timely manner. Jessie had all his samples with him and a catalog to pick our sinks from. No pressure to sign a contract ever. He was understanding we needed time to decide. Treated my wife with respect (other sales people directed questions to me and not her, they made her feel invisible). Jessie’s prices were fair and reasonable, so we decided to go with him. The installation took a day and everything was as promised. He was careful and respectful of our space and time. Thank you Jessie for the excellent job and the beautiful countertops. He also made us two cutting boards at no extra charge."

"Rodi the owner of My Guy Remodels was excellent to work with. He promptly reached out to me to setup a time to do a walkthrough of the project. After the walkthrough and asking follow up questions he provided an estimate within a day and then followed up to see if we had any questions. His price was very reasonable for the job and we appreciated his level of communication and attention to details. He started the work and was efficient and effective in completing on time and on budget. His work is perfect and down to the smallest of details. He was a perfectionist and clearly takes great pride in his work. We will use him again for small and larger projects."

"We had a flood in our basement and we hired these guys to replace the flooring and drywall. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The whole basement looks great way better than it did before the flood. We are beyond pleased with the way it came out. Definitely would recommend these guys for any kind of work youâ re looking to get done. If we ever need any more work done we will for sure be using these guys. Thank you so much"

Marble and Granite questions, answered by experts

Marble is very porous, so it stains more than non-porous quartz. Exercise caution when drinking wine and juice or cooking with oil near the marble fixture.

Marble countertops don’t necessarily crack easily. However, they are more susceptible to damage than some other types of countertops. For example, they can develop etching from acidic liquids, such as lemon or tomato juice. Marble can also chip at the edges if you drop a heavy pan. A faux marble countertop isn’t as delicate as the real deal (depending on the material you’re painting over), but it can still get scratched if you’re not careful. Use hot pads and cutting boards to protect the countertop.

One of Caesarstone® countertops' main advantages is that they’re resistant to scratching, cracking, and staining. Of course, like any countertop material, nothing is 100% guaranteed, and homeowners should refrain from using knives or other sharp objects directly on the countertop. Yet, homeowners can rest assured that Caesarstone® is one of the most durable countertop options.

Marble countertops can last from 20 to 100 years, making them an excellent choice for anyone looking for durability. The life span depends on several factors, including how well you take care of your marble countertops. Marble is a porous material, so it can require more upkeep than other countertop options.

Deciding between marble and granite for kitchen countertops depends on your personal priorities, budget, and style. Both materials have similar costs for material and installation.

Marble offers a luxurious aesthetic and timeless beauty, but it is more expensive and requires more maintenance. It is susceptible to staining and etching from acidic substances like coffee, wine, or tomato sauce if spills are not cleaned up quickly.

Granite is highly durable, heat-resistant, and easier to maintain, making it a practical choice for busy kitchens.

Both materials should be sealed to protect against damage, but they can still be vulnerable to stains if spills are left on the surface for too long.
