"We had a lot of work done on our home recently. Had Buckley’s flooring install hard wood floors in our kitchen and long hall way. They did such a beautiful job. They matched the new flooring with our existing 80 year old hard wood perfectly. They are so professional and good honest people. Their prices for hard wood floors were comparable to vinyl. Take my word, go with hard wood. I tell everyone looking into flooring to hire Buckley’s flooring."

"â The entire team were amazing. We were very hesitant and nervous about the remodel of our master bath as we had not done a remodel before. We interviewed others and continued to delay the project each year as we heard so many nightmarish bathroom remodel stories from friends, until we met Expert Home Builders owner. He kept his promises about budget and timing and delivered even more than we expected. His team arrived and departed according to plan, were extremely neat and even protected our very new hardwood floors (which they had to walk across numerous times daily) from any damage. Our bathroom is everything we hoped for and have been enjoying it for nearly a year. Thank you for a wonderful work !"

"These guys are high quality in every way. Their work is of the highest quality. They are professional, nice, super hard working prosâ s. Detailed, they get down to business snd get the job done. They donâ t waste time. Theyâ ve been re finishing floors with their father since they were kids. They did an outstanding and amazing job refinishing my large living room and hallway. My son and I are in awe of how great it turned out. We are both so happy with our new refinished living room and hallway. . My 72 yr. old hardwood floors look brand new but classic. I really cannot say enough about Buckleyâ s flooring. These guys rock!!"

"Did well to resolve some issues forward flooring. When issue in the kitchen wasn't resolved because I wasn't confident that they could actually do what they had said they could do in that particular area but overall they did what I asked."

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

Pros will assess your soil type, property geography, and rain patterns for optimal slope.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

Soil testers and licensed excavators are often the professionals you hire if you need a perc test. In some cases, structural engineers will also be able to conduct the test for you. In many municipalities, you’ll need your professional on-site to dig and fill the holes with water, as well as a representative from your local building department or health department. That representative is the individual who will determine whether your test passes or fails.

It is almost always necessary to hire a land surveyor near you to ensure your fence sits on the right side of the property line. Mistaking the shape of your property can lead to fines and costly changes if you have to move or adjust the privacy fence—not to mention some surly looks from your neighbor. We recommend jumpstarting your fence planning in the spring to ensure there is plenty of time to map out your plan before construction season.

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.
