"Big Rich Hauling team arrived early and went right to loading the items I wished to have hauled and dumped. The weather was 110* and the gentlemen worked non stop until everything was loaded and ready to go. Conversation was pleasant and the speed they performed the task was amazing. I will hire these guys again and I have been telling everyone about them. Great bunch of guys!"

"The price was great and they followed through as they promised, and it was overall a great experience in terms of a convenient way to get a lot of junk hauled away. My only criticism is that the bin that they delivered was on a trailer so it was about 3-4 feet off the ground, which made it a little difficult to load items intoâ ¦ in other words, stuff had to be lifted up into the bin. But that was not a big deal and overall, I would highly recommend these folks for getting your junk hauled a way."

Customers say: True professional

"We found McCormick home builders through Angie’s list. They were not one of our original contacts, but they contacted us and came out to give us a quote. Matteo was extremely helpful, informative, honest, and gave us reasonable realistic prices, and did not try to inflate the prices or pressure us in anyway. We felt very comfortable with him immediately. We felt like he was a member of the family that we could just talk to and ask questions he was very personable. He gave us his contact number in case we had other questions and he was always available when we needed him for any type of questions or concerns. Mateo‘s team did a beautiful job. They were fast. They were efficient. They cleaned up beautifully. They did a wonderful job. They were very considerate of our time our needs and our neighbors. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Matteo from McCormick home builders for any home building projects, and we will be calling him again in the future!"

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Professionals safely remove water or fuel tanks by emptying the contents, cutting and disconnecting lines, and lifting the tank for disposal while adhering to environmental regulations.

Hiring professionals ensures efficient and responsible yard waste removal, protecting property aesthetics and ensuring regulatory compliance. They manage disposal or recycling effectively, reducing the homeowner’s burden of handling heavy or bulky materials.

Not every, but many, states classify fluorescent tubes and CFL light bulbs as hazardous waste that need to be disposed of in a specified manner. California defines its list of hazardous fluorescent tubes as follows:

  • Fluorescent tubes, including low mercury tubes.

  • Compact fluorescents, including low mercury lamps

  • Metal halide lamps, such as floodlights for  large indoor and outdoor areas and gymnasiums

  • Sodium lamps, such as those sometimes used as security lighting and outdoor floodlights

  • Mercury vapor lamps, such as those sometimes used for street lighting

When installing new steel doors, it’s smart to do other projects simultaneously. This can lower costs, limit mess, and help your home look and function better. For example, replacing a damaged doorframe is wise when planning door installations.

Also consider changing broken or worn-out locks, repairing or replacing weather stripping, and updating handles. Painting, staining, or upgrading the trim around the door can also improve energy efficiency, security, and aesthetics.

When scrap tires are properly recycled, they are often shredded into small pieces. This way, the materials within can be separated and used to manufacture various new products. This includes fuel, playground surfaces, sports fields, rubberized asphalt, mats, flooring, and filler for new tires. Some tires still end up in landfills, but this practice is becoming less common.
