"The young guy who did the work was prompt and professional, but not well trained. He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off.
He forgot to do the garage door and was all packed up when he asked me to inspect, so I just let it ride.

"5 days I think it was he removed the creosotes here. He made many trips to the landfill, came back ripped up more creosotes and filled up his huge trailer. He removed the huge fire danger that kept me constantly worrying about losing my home to fire. Over the years had gathered a giant pile of fire wood and he removed that too. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the open land now. I paid him more than we agreed on because he deserved it. My land is boxed in by creosotes but now I will NOT burn down when a wildfire comes. My horses can see for a long way now......not just the dry lots they live in. I do have 4 pine trees that are scheduled to be removed. Fire will come one day and I am preparing for that day.... removing the creosotes and woodpile was the answer. I feel soooo much better! The only way to clear the land was to hire a dozer guy and he was the perfect choice. It was hot and he was covered in silt, had 2 flat tires on his trailer but just a happy guy all around. great guy"

1. Installers were dinged twice by city inspector on installation, but they finally got it right.

2, Installers gave me technology to monitor my solar electricity production, but no technology to monitor my usage.

Information on usage would help me monitor my system better.

3. Some of the installation crew struggled with English. The supervisor could communicate okay.

4. Sunpower Inc., the solar company, made me sign off my rebate rights and tax benefits, in addition to a $5600 installation fee, in addition to a $156 monthly lease of the system for 20 years. But this still cut my bill into less than half of what I was paying So. Cal Edison. But I'm still not so sure what the value of the benefits I signed away were.

5. Overall I am satisfied with paying less for electricity.

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

If you or your mortgage lender think your land survey needs to be more accurate, double-check the survey report and get at least a second opinion from the original surveyor and an inspector, if possible. Although it’s unlikely, even reputable surveying companies can make mistakes. An inaccurate survey can cause problems down the road in the case of any property line disputes, so it’s best to resolve any inaccuracies as quickly as possible.

Land surveying can help give clear guidance on your property boundaries for numerous situations. And in some cases, having your land surveyed is a requirement. Some common reasons to have your land surveyed include:

  • Planning for construction projects, like building a fence

  • Locating utilities, such as plumbing fixtures

  • Settling property line disputes

  • Creating subdivisions

  • Meeting mortgage requirements

  • Selling your property

ALTA/ACSM surveys are the most comprehensive type of land survey and, as such, tend to be the most expensive. These surveys have standardized guidelines and reports and are used in many kinds of real estate transactions to ensure consistent and accurate information is available for properties.

Costs vary, but you can expect to spend between $1,000 and $4,000 to prepare land for a mobile home or before you build a house. You’ll need to clear enough land for the foundation, which may require leveling or grading, as well as removing trees, stumps, and plants. Don’t forget to plan for permits and fees and the installation of a gas line, water line, and sewer main.

Yes, they assess topography and potential risks related to flooding.
