"Very knowledgeable guy who seem to know what he’s doing. Don’t know results of spraying. Have had much rain since. Will have to see if it worked. Terminex will spray again the beginning of next month."

"I contacted all pest pros the beginning of April because of a dead smell coming from my attic. I also had flies coming out of there. The inspector Alex went into the attic and removed dead rat from a trap that Terminix left behind. I signed a contract, though I thought was  a little pricey at the time. With all the hard work that these guys did, I now feel that it was money well spent. I just had my last check up yesterday and there were no rats in the traps and am no longer hearing noises in my walls. My house has been nice and cool with the new insulation that was put in. GREAT JOB TO ALL PEST PROS!

Animal Removal questions, answered by experts

Yes, badgers can benefit the environments they live in. As they dig and feed, they carry and disperse seeds, which helps plants spread and grow. They also build tunnels that other species, like rabbits and foxes, can move into. However, these benefits may not be desirable on your property, and badger removal may be preferable.

Moles breed once a year, marking March on their calendars as peak season. However, their breeding season can start as early as February and wrap up in May. Their gestation period is 4 weeks, with litters ranging from 2 to 6 little ones. They are considered all grown up by the three-month mark, making them ready for parenthood.

A raccoon may be hanging around your house for convenient access to food, water, or shelter. They may drink water out of puddles, pools, ponds, fountains, or your pet’s water bowls. Raccoons are also known to eat just about anything, including food from gardens and waste from unsecured trash cans.

The best way to permanently get rid of skunks is by setting up deterrents around your property to keep skunks out. Get rid of skunks permanently by:

  • Not leaving food or water outside

  • Installing a motion-sensor sprinkler system

  • Installing fencing that’s at least 3 feet high and a foot deep

  • Adding motion-sensor lights in the yard

  • Cleaning up brush, sticks, woodpiles, and leaves on your property so skunks can’t use the materials for a nest

  • Seal up cracks and holes around your property to prevent skunks from building a den

  • Placing fresh lemon peels around the perimeter of your home

If a coyote approaches you, never run away, even if it goes against your natural instinct. Make yourself look big, shout loudly, and throw something in the coyote's direction. Be persistent and continue these scare tactics until they move away. Then, you should move away slowly, always facing the coyote.
