Customers say: True professional

"We found McCormick home builders through Angie’s list. They were not one of our original contacts, but they contacted us and came out to give us a quote. Matteo was extremely helpful, informative, honest, and gave us reasonable realistic prices, and did not try to inflate the prices or pressure us in anyway. We felt very comfortable with him immediately. We felt like he was a member of the family that we could just talk to and ask questions he was very personable. He gave us his contact number in case we had other questions and he was always available when we needed him for any type of questions or concerns. Mateo‘s team did a beautiful job. They were fast. They were efficient. They cleaned up beautifully. They did a wonderful job. They were very considerate of our time our needs and our neighbors. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Matteo from McCormick home builders for any home building projects, and we will be calling him again in the future!"

"Very professional and did a fantastic job removing popcorn ceilings, texturing ceilings and then painting entire condo, and stained kitchen cabinets. Removed tile on fireplace and kitchen backsplash and carefully retiled both perfectly. Swapped out faucets and knobs, installed garbage disposal, some lighting and replaced a window. He works cleanly and communicates well. Very reliable. Highly recommend."

"I hired Mikey to remodel my master bathroom and was completely satisfied with not only the results but the entire process. His bid was very fair and the craftsmanship was exceptional! The decision to go with him was one of the best decisions I made. I'm proud of the work and the experience I had. In fact, I had him remodel my other two bathrooms. If you are considering a contractor I would highly recommend you at least meet with Mikey from Progressive Builders. I got peace of mind and the comfort that hiring a contractor does not have to be a nightmare like most are."

"I found star very pleasant and eager to help. I wanted him to remove center console between 2 laz-e-boy chairs. I thought it would take a long time . It only took s few mins so he helped me move furniture and resolve some decorating challenges. It was fun and i am happy with results."

Yes, many providers offer design consultations to create unique structures. Confirm with your contractor.

Yes, professionals can offer design advice and material selections that complement existing architecture.

Designs typically take 2-6 months, depending on factoring, project size, and customization needs. Larger or more complex designs may require additional time for approval and revisions.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts.
