"Our house is built into a hillside and the back of it rises a little more than two stories. We have large windows that provide a view, but they were not easily accessed due to several reasons. We were not sure what types of replacement windows to get, and we spoke to two contractors. One contractor wasn't responsive, and the second contractor recommended that we pay for expensive scaffolding, and worked with us on an estimate that would have us cut the stucco and install completely new windows (which is what we thought we wanted). The price got so high, and we couldn't get a scaffolding company to look at the house. So we started looking for other options and that's when we called Chris. He came out on a Saturday evening and gave us really excellent recommendations on retrofit windows, he answered questions about inspections and egress, and he came up with solutions to the interior and exterior color of the windows. His price was far below the other contractor. Chris came and installed all the windows and they all look and work great. The job took longer than he originally thought, and we had some frustrations over scheduling. But he came through and did all the work to our complete satisfaction and we are very glad we found him on Angie's List. "
