The installers - The three installers showed up on time and did an excellent job, matching the height of the flooring chosen for the bedrooms perfectly to the height of the tile in the hallway. They were easy to work with, listened to what I had to say on how I wanted the rooms to look. Yes I would hire them again."

"Frederick Scafani, the owner of FSP General Contractors, has done a terrible job with our kitchen tile flooring — the tiles are chipped, lippage is large, and all the grout is cracking and coming out. He has taken an illegal amount of deposit ($3000 when $1000 is the legal limit in CA) and has not fixed his work or returned our deposit. He has not responded to phone or emails. There were many other things that went wrong, including him not tapping water pipes and flooding the kitchen and hallway, with water leaking down to the floor below, but I’ll focus this review specifically on tile. I would highly advise to steer clear of Fred. Tile installation and grout: $5,840 Tiles + delivery: $1,295.86"

Ben did two projects for us… a kitchen remodel and new foyer, and then a couple years later a bathroom, new closet, wood stove hearth and hardwood floors and paint throughout our downstairs. He is super detail oriented to the point of being almost OCD. Our projects turned out great and on budget. His bids were mid to higher priced but we went with him again because we know we can trust him and the job would be done correctly. Would definitely work with him again"

We were so impressed we hired them to also paint other locations in the unit as well as to do the composite flooring in the entire condo, including labor intensive removal and disposal of tile. Best Hardwood Flooring was established in January 2005 by two brothers, Cesar and Miguel Estrada. Both spent over a year working for a construction company and at the same time trying to fulfill their dream of applying their skills and ability that would allow them to one day open their own company. They and their families sacrificed their time and committed all that they had to their business, through hard work, responsibility, guarantee, honesty and always looking for the client’s complete satisfaction, their work load increased in a matter of months and they were able to do away with their job at the construction company and open Best Hardwood Flooring. "All around excellent experience. We visited Best Hardwood Flooring's store while shopping around to find the right flooring for our home (and we visited several stores). Their sample selection was very impressive, by far the best of all the stores we visited. Yaqueline was very attentive and helpful during that first visit, and provided us with several samples to take home and consider. Once we had made our decision on a product, we went over pricing, and found that they offered the best price for the flooring product we had selected, which was a higher-end Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring (and we did check around on that pricing..). Jaqueline then arranged for Caesar to come out and take measurements at our home, and provided us with a few quotes covering some options ranging from Best doing all of the work, to quotes resulting in a reduction in some of the costs by performing a portion of the preliminary preparation work ourselves, which I had requested of her and found to be very helpful. Once we made our decision to go with Best and had them place the materials orders, they provided us with a schedule for the job, and an estimated duration before completion. The job was then booked per our scheduling preference. On the scheduled day, Mario and Juan showed up on time to begin the job. They were very courteous and went over the details of the job with us such as what area of the house they would begin installing the floor, how it would be installed, and asked us what our preferences were for orientation of the plank or offered suggestions whenever applicable as the job progressed. They even took the time to sand the subfloor where there were even any slight edges to ensure it was a smooth level base for the new flooring planks. They arrived on time each day, and actually completed the job ahead of the projected duration originally provided. These gentlemen did an outstanding, VERY PROFESSIONAL job! We could not be happier with the result of their workmanship, and we are absolutely delighted with our new flooring! We would not hesitate to recommend this provider, and will definitely return to them for any additional needs going forward. Very pleased."
