"Bodhi was fantastic. So pleasant and personable. Reinstalled my sliding screen door to perfection. Bodhi made sure my screen door slid open and closed smoothly! Stated if I had any problem with it to let him know. I will definitely contact him for other projects and have given his info to my daughter for her upcoming projects😊👏 A plus!!!"

"A friend recommended Edgar and his crew after I saw what a good job they did remodeling my friends two bathrooms. We only use Edgar now for all our home projects. He has remodeled two of our bathrooms, installed vinyl flooring, canned lights, ceiling fans, stair balusters, he's done plumbing for us, he's done fascia painting, he pretty much does it all. His work is top-notch. His pricing is very fair. He and crew are always on time finishing the project but also showing up in the morning. He's responsive the phone calls and texts. Highly highly recommended. I tell everyone to use Edgar and crew for any of their home repairs or upgrades."

"Dan contacted within minutes of posting my job. He asked if he could stop by to check out the job seeing as how he was close by, I said he could. He arrived about 20 minutes later, checked out the job and asked if I would like to have it done right away and I said yes, Dan he would, he left to get the required tools and required materials. Dan returned in less than an hour later and started the job. Dan finished the job in less than about an hour (I'm jessing, I didn't time it). I was very impressed with Dan's Professionalism and Expertise. I would definitely call Dan for any future jobs that may come up in the future."

Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

A screened-in porch requires maintenance to keep the screens clean and in good shape, and you may have to do some screen repair or replacement from time to time. A screen porch isn’t an all-season porch, so the weather can get in, including wind and rain.

Rescreening a door costs an average of $7 to $150. It’s a relatively easy process that only requires 30 minutes to an hour’s work.

There are a number of ways to secure windows. You can add motion detectors or window sensors to detect movement and impact or change the window locks to make them stronger. Some of the ways you can secure windows are much like how you secure a home: closing the curtains at night and setting up security cameras outside so you can monitor your property even in your absence.

Rescreening your porch can take a few hours to a whole day, depending on the size of the enclosure and the amount of screen that needs replacing. If you decide to have a professional handle the rescreening, be sure to get a timeline and a cost estimate so you know how long you’ll be without the screened-in space.

Yes, you can absolutely put a screen on a casement window, and most casement windows come with screens. Unlike with a double-hung, single-hung, or sliding window, the screen in a casement window sits on the inside of the window so that the sash can freely open outward. Screens are especially important for casement windows because the large window opening the window provides leaves your home more open to bugs and outside debris than most other types of operable windows.
