"I have always highly recommended Ocean Seven Builders. We have used them many times. They have done our garage roof, the main roof on our house, they have put in new roof for my town home, and all looks beautiful. The team is very prompt response. The crew is very friendly and professional. I will use them again for future needs."

"It was fine. There was an additional charge but I'm not surprised because I had a dryer vent that is very complicated. We negotiated and told me what they will going to take to do it. I was fine with it because I know my dryer vent. For me, to call somebody and do that specifically, it would have been more money. I feel good about it."

"We had the absolute pleasure of working with Kurt Henderson as our contractor for Redwood 101 (you can see the journey from down to the studs to completion on IG @visitRedwood101), and we truly can?t say enough good things. Kurt is the kind of contractor everyone hopes to find?honest, fair, reliable, and incredibly skilled. His attention to detail is unmatched, and his eye for design and finish work brought so many thoughtful touches to the project. He treated our home like it was his own, going above and beyond at every turn, never cutting corners. He says he's a framer at heart, but his tile work is unmatched. Kurt was easy to work with, extremely dedicated, and consistently delivered high-quality results. It?s rare to find someone with Kurt's combination of talent, integrity, and work ethic. We?re so grateful for everything Kurt did to make Redwood 101 truly special. Highly recommend!"

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.

For many people, a gazebo is worth it, but it’s a matter of personal preference. If you love spending time outside but your yard doesn’t offer much protection from the sun or rain, then adding a gazebo might be worthwhile. Or, if you enjoy hosting dinner parties and want a nice outdoor space to gather with your friends, a gazebo could be a good investment.

The main purpose of a gazebo is to provide a covered space for people to gather comfortably. They’re an excellent place for summertime get-togethers because the roof protects you and your guests from the sun. However, gazebos can also serve as a design feature, adding a bit of charm to a backyard or garden.

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.
