"Mark did an outstanding job painting my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. His attention to detail, craftsmanship, and professionalism were evident from the moment he started. He took the time to properly prepare everything, kept the work area clean, and made sure every detail was done right. The finished product exceeded my expectations. The paint lines are crisp, the coverage is flawless, and the room looks completely transformed. Mark was reliable, communicated throughout the project, showed up when he said he would, and treated my home with respect. If you’re looking for a painter who takes pride in his work, delivers high-quality results, and truly cares about customer satisfaction, I highly recommend Mark. I would absolutely hire him again for future projects and will be recommending him to anyone looking for a great painter. Five stars all the way!"

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

The best way to remove lead paint is by wet hand sanding and removing all dust and residue with a HEPA vacuum. Professionals may also strip and scrape lead-based paint with a paint scraper. In some cases, you may choose to have a pro encapsulate or enclose your lead-based paint surface by covering it with a sealant or a new material. You may also choose to replace the material altogether.

The most common reason paint peels is because moisture gets trapped underneath it and disrupts its bond with the wall. Other causes for peeling paint include a poor original paint job, painting over a surface with dirt or other foreign material on it, or applying paint coats that are too thick.

Scrape softened caulk with a putty knife or slice hardened caulk with a utility knife. Hard-to-remove caulk generally requires more time exposed to a softening solution, like a commercial product or rubbing alcohol. A few hours to a day later, the softened caulk will come off with the help of common household tools. In many cases, you can grab needle-nosed pliers for caulk with multiple old layers and pull the material off its base.

Professionals handle heavy lifting, proper disposal, and recycling, reducing environmental impact.

Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.
