"The project I had Mike and his crew do was to install concrete and approx. 1200 sq. ft. of asphalt in my front yard. Mike was easy to communicate with, was informative of when my project would begin and end and reasonably priced. I am so happy that I went with Mike and his company because they did a fantastic job and even my neighbors are now amazed at the work that was done. We now have more parking space which we needed and cleaned up some areas that just had a lot of dirt and weeds that we were getting tired of maintaining. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs concrete or asphalt installed. We have been getting lots of compliments from family and neighbors. Great job indeed!"

"Al Nava was very prompt getting back to me and worked me into his schedule to get out to my house within 24 hrs. He was very friendly and explained everything he was doing and seeing. He was very good at diagnosing the program and did not automatically go to the most expensive possible cause and instead tried to be as economical as possible. I was impressed that he even called a few days later to make sure everything was still working well. I found him very honest, reliable and skilled at irrigation and would definitely use him again."

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

If your garage floor is heavily soiled or stained, then it’s a good idea to powerwash it with a concrete cleaner before sealing. This process will remove dirt and debris to help the new sealer bond to the concrete properly, and it will also improve the look of your sealed garage floor. After power washing your floor, make sure you let the concrete dry completely before applying sealant, usually for 24 to 48 hours.

Some homeowners have luck using pressure washers, but this only works for old or weaker concrete sealants and with very powerful pressure washers. You’ll get better results by pressure washing water-based sealants. However, it’s worth trying on any sealant if you’re hoping for the least toxic, least expensive, and most DIY-friendly option. To try this method, rent or buy the most powerful pressure washer you can find and take several passes at the concrete, completely pressure washing the entire area. You may need to repeat the process multiple times to see results.

Yes, baking soda and vinegar can remove rust from concrete. Vinegar is acidic and can remove rust stains from concrete on its own. Adding baking soda may increase abrasiveness, which could help loosen some of the stain even more when scrubbing the stain. However, a stiff-bristled brush can do the same.

You shouldn’t directly paint over an oil stain on your asphalt driveway. While painting over might visually conceal the stain, the oil will continue to damage the driveway. Once you’ve noticed the oil stain, it’s important to thoroughly remove it within the next few months since oil stains only take six months before they begin to damage the structure of your asphalt driveway.

Since freeze-thaw cycles throughout the winter months can damage your driveway, it's best to winterize your driveway in the late fall before the first freeze hits. Doing so will help to protect your driveway from damage throughout the winter season. Plus, drier, warmer weather makes applying and curing sealant much easier.
