"Called them for an estimate to re-pipe the house. Was told they charged $45.00 for an estimate which would be applied to any work done. I agreed and someone came out and went through the house. He took my email address and I was told the guy who writes up the estimates would get back to me. This was on a Tuesday morning. I had not heard anything by Thursday and so I called to inquire. The woman on the line told me he had the information and she would have him get back to me that day. Never heard back. Called back on Friday and she looked it up and said he was out in the field but he had the information. She said she would contact him and get right back to me. I never heard back. I was charged $45.00 and I still have not gotten an estimate. In the meantime I had other companies come and give me estimates. Not one of them charged for it and they got back to me right away with their estimates. Payless was very unprofressional. I will be disputing any charge that shows on my credit card."

"I have called/used Titan Plumbing on a number of occasions to: -fix/repair/replace outside faucet of my parents home in Bakersfield :they came in and fixed work from a previous workman who didn't properly address the issue -install new kitchen sink faucet -install new toilet/bidet system :extensive installation and follow up reinstallation and repair work Staff is as PROFESSIONAL as can be! Receptionist Yesenia has ALWAYS been polite, courteous and helpful to me every time that I called in. I have also worked/interacted with their Manager, Cody. I very much appreciated the time and help he put forth in working out a parts return issue with the Bio Bidet company. His help and assistance in this matter saved my Dad a LOT of money! Cody really stepped up to help my Dad! Their plumbers are very knowledgeable and helpful. The plumber who worked with my elderly parents (Luis) was a true gentleman and professional! He was very kind and caring to both of my parents! A big part of why I was having an expensive bio bidet installed was for my mother who was suffering from liver failure. She really needed this specialty toilet to help her to help ease the daily pains she was suffering from. She passed away this past year. I had to coordinate all of my directives with them from out of state (on my parents behalf). They followed up with me and kept me in the loop and thoroughly explained all details (costs/labor/and logistics). I highly recommend them! When you get this type of service, YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE that others know of them. THANK YOU Titan Plumbing (and Luis! As well as Jason and Carlos!). Yes, continuing to flush a clogged toilet is not likely to break up the clog. Instead, it will continue to put pressure on the clog while filling the bowl with more water, which can potentially cause the toilet to overflow—leading to an even bigger mess. Rather than repeatedly flushing, use a toilet plunger or plumber’s snake to dislodge the clog.

You can unclog a double kitchen sink by plunging the side with the garbage disposal. Cover the drain hole on the other side first to avoid creating a mess. Plunge up and down until the water starts to drain. You can also pour in baking soda and vinegar to try and dissolve a clog. 

Baking soda and vinegar aren’t just great for making a volcano for your kid’s science project. You can also pour this dynamic duo down your shower drain to dissolve hair clogs. If that doesn’t do the trick, you can step it up with a commercial liquid drain cleaner. 

If you want to avoid using a snake to unclog a drain, or if you don’t have one, try vinegar and baking soda. Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 cup of white vinegar. Wait for 15 minutes, and then run hot water (but not boiling water) down the drain to see if the clog is clear. Repeat multiple times as needed.

Your sewer line can get grimy quickly. To prevent sludge buildup in your sewer line, pour a mixture of 1/3 cup of vinegar and 1/3 cup of baking soda down each drain in your home once a month. After about 30 minutes, flush the drain with hot water.

Some plumbers recommend 3/4 cup of bleach instead to clean any germs and bacteria that may build up in your sewer line. But this won’t break down any active clogs, and it cannot be combined with vinegar, as the mixture will create a toxic, hazardous gas.
