"Our project they performed for us was a takedown of an an old existing wood retaining wall and installing a new concrete block wall and steps. Fantastic design and building around 100 feet of wall and steps. They insured that there was proper drainage by installing good drain material behind the wall so no buckling of it could ever occur and good drain outlets were installed. It looks great and we have had many compliments on it and their work. We would not hesitate to call them on other projects we might need."

Black stains can usually be removed by scrubbing the brick with a brush and masonry cleaner or power washing.

You can use normal bricks as cladding for a concrete or clay pizza oven or as a base underneath one. Fire bricks or solid clay bricks are necessary for an outdoor pizza oven’s floor, and you can use clay bricks for the rest of the oven.

Limewash can be removed from brick, but the method of removal will depend on how long the limewash has been on the brick. If the limewash has fully dried—which happens after about five days—you’ll need to use a diluted muriatic acid mixture to remove it. If there are multiple coats of limewash, you may need to apply the acid mixture several times to fully remove it from the brick.

When painting brick, each application method has distinct advantages and disadvantages. Spraying is significantly faster but may not penetrate deeply beyond the surface layer. Rolling is effective for working paint into the brick's texture but can be less effective on mortar joints. Ultimately, a combination of spraying followed by back-rolling is often the best strategy for a durable and even finish.
