"Yes, yes, all kinds of yes. Luth is the man. Arrived on time with a smile (and was adorable), gave me a 20 min courtesy call, no upselling and no hidden fees, and most importantly he got out set-in stains that Stanley Steemer never even touched! He's still currently cleaning but I'm so impressed that I had to hop on here and heap praise. Impressive work for a great price. I almost chose another company. So grateful to all of the reviewers before me for changing my mind.

Upholstering questions, answered by experts

Interior and exterior door openings are typically 80 inches high, with openings 29¼ inches wide for interior doors and 35 inches wide for exterior doors. If your couch is smaller than these measurements, it should fit through the door frame.

It is generally worth repairing leather furniture rather than replacing it, as it is typically more affordable and the material tends to retain its value. A typical repair averages around $250, which is significantly less than the thousands of dollars a replacement could cost. Even a full reupholstering, which can cost up to $4,000, may still be more economical than buying new. With proper care, repaired leather furniture can last for many years, making the investment worthwhile. However, if the underlying structure or frame of the furniture is damaged or malfunctioning, replacement might be a better option. The quality of the leather and the furniture piece are also important factors. For a definitive answer, it is best to consult a leather repair professional to assess your specific situation.

Pros cover many fixes, from upholstery renewals to joint reinforcement.

Ongoing maintenance of your leather furniture is the only way to prevent it from peeling and cracking. Real leather will peel and crack as it dries out. Leather conditioners are a great way to protect your leather furniture from drying out, and you’ll need to apply it about twice each year. It’s also a good idea to keep abrasive materials away from your leather to prevent cracking and peeling, including belt buckles, shoes, and multi-surface cleaners, especially those that contain alcohol.

The process usually takes 1-2 weeks, and it is highly influenced by the materials, complexity of the project, and any customization desired.
