"The experience was great from the time the woman at the desk responded to my call. She was friendly, patient and courteous. The plumber arrived on time. He was clean and respectful. The price was affordable. He schooled me about leaks and toilet backups. In addition, he was patient with me answering all of my questions friendly and knowledgeable. Iâ m glad I chose them out of the three pros offered. I hope Iâ ll never need a plumber in my home again; but if I do, Iâ ll hire them and will tell others also."

"Iâ ve used this company a few times and theyâ ve always done a great job. The latest was a plumbing issue. The technician, Fred, was very professional. He gave me some options and explained each. He and another technician did a great job fixing my issue. Their customer service reps also kept me updated while I waited for Fred."

"Mr. Aquino was so incredibly helpful. We were on a tight timeline and he was able to come out the same day and do the plumbing repair to our bathtub we needed even though it ended up being a bigger job than originally thought. He explained everything as he was doing it fantastic Customerservice really knows his stuff and a great value for the price highly recommend them."

"Afyer other Plumbers kept coming out yearly to fix, Plymwr, Bobby), actually got to the core PROBLEM and FIXED IT. Highly recommend. Especially for those who keep having the same issues and paying astronomical fees that tajes all day. Bobby was here, MAYBE a 1/2 hour. Still amazed at the work, honesty & speedy repair. Toilets questions, answered by experts

Depending on the issue and materials, costs range from $150 to $500.

Basement toilets don’t always need a pump. However, it is the most common setup because plumbing systems use gravity to move waste away from the home. Basement toilets often sit below the home’s main sewage system, and installing a sewage ejector pump pushes the wastewater and sewage up to the main sewer line. Alternatively, you can use an upflush or macerator toilet that breaks down the waste and pushes it straight to the main sewer line rather than via a sewer line from the bathroom.

The toilet flange anchors to the subfloor, usually with wood screws or cement screws, but most of it should sit above floor level at full height. When a flange is flush with the subfloor or below it, it can lead to the creation of leak paths.

The toilet should rest 10, 12, or 14 inches from the back wall. As for other clearances, 15 inches is the minimum distance from the flange to any side wall or nearby fixture, including the shower, tub, and sink. Modern codes also require at least 24 inches of clear space in front of the toilet.

First, check that you have cut off the water supply to your toilet. This is a project that can only be done safely if running water cannot reach your toilet fixture. If you're seeing water trickle out after you've confirmed that the water supply is shut off, you can probably rest assured that what you're seeing isn't a problem. It's common for leftover water to spill out when you're removing your toilet's fill valve. If something goes wrong while you're working on your toilet, you'll need to look at your home's policy to see if your homeowner insurance covers water damage.
