"Roberto Sanchez Solar System, I interviewed 4 solar panel companies and I chose NRG because Will was able to explain everything well. He answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction. Friendly and honest, Will made the sales process very smooth and personable. Tiffany helped and coordinated the project to make sure everything goes well. She always got back to my emails and phone calls promptly. Installers completed the solar panels when I was at work. Came home and he solar panels were on the roof. Definitely a nice install and quality work was delivered. Lisa helped out with the financing on the HVAC. She was patient and I believe got me a lower amount that before. Solar edge app is great to use and straight forward. Highly recommended company thanks NRG. I am excited to use my new solar system!"

"In April of 2011, we had (2) AC units replaced. I had 3 companies come out to give us a quote. I had a personal reference on Lee's, but I had used another provider the year before on our rental and was very pleased with his service. Lee's recommended that we replace both of our 3.5 ton 25 year old units with (1) 3.5 ton unit and (1) 2.5 ton unit and replace all of our duct work. We went with Lee's because we felt that their recommendation better served our needs than replacing both 3.5 ton units with the same and only repairing duct work as needed. (Our ducts were shredded from the Fresno heat in many places!) Lee's started work on replacing all of our ducts and also rerouted some ducts and added ducts as needed. The actually day the AC units were removed and installed went very smoothly. I think I was the only one nervous as the crane lifted the units over our roof and into place. The year, after we replaced our AC units, our electric bills have decreased an average of $150.00 per month! We have since installed solar panels so our electric usage is significantly less. We have been very satisfied with Lee's AC. We purchase their annual maintenance contract every year. We also had Lee's AC check our rental house when we decided to put it on the market. Lees's found a number of deficiencies in the installation of the unit in the attic (installed by another company). The chimney was not connected to the roof vent, and the roof vent was not installed correctly in the roof. Lee's repaired all problems for a reasonable cost. "

"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. We are very satisfied with our solar system and I highly recommended Mega Power Electric Inc."

On average, a typical fridge uses 115 kWh per month. With eight hours of sunlight per day, a 100-watt solar panel can produce 30 kWh per month. This means you’ll need at least four dedicated panels to power the refrigerator with solar energy. Consult with a solar power specialist to get a more accurate estimate.
Solar panels should get at least four to six hours of direct sunlight daily. It’s even better if sunlight reaches panels between the peak hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. This is enough to power a home, depending on your solar system’s size and energy needs. Remember that panels will generate some power under cloudy skies or in the shade, and many systems compensate for lower sun exposure by drawing energy from the grid or battery storage.
The average homeowner needs around 22 solar panels, but the exact number depends on your monthly energy consumption. Your solar professional should size your array to offset your consumption, meaning you’ll need fewer panels if you use below-average amounts of electricity, or more than 22 if you use above-average amounts of electricity. The number of panels also depends on the output of each panel. The average is around 400 watts, but you might need more panels if you install less capable equipment. Since there are so many variables, you should have a professional size your system.
In most cases, installing solar panels will not void your roof warranty. To keep roof warranties intact, check your written warranty or call the manufacturer to ask about clauses regarding roof penetrations. You can also protect yourself by getting written approval or a modified warranty that specifically allows the solar installation type you’re planning. Then, hire a professional solar installer that follows roofing manufacturer instructions and protects the roof during installation.
It’s possible that installing solar panels can lead to mold on the roof. The panels themselves are not the issue. Problems caused by improper installation—such as roof leaks and mounts that aren’t sealed properly—can cause mold. Another potential cause of mold is debris accumulation under panels, which can trap moisture. If you live somewhere with extreme snow, rain, or hail, your home could be more prone to mold.
