"Green Planet made what I thought would be a stressful kitchen renovation into something surprisingly smooth and even enjoyable. I’ve heard horror stories about remodels dragging on forever or going over budget—this was the opposite. The timeline they promised was met, the price we agreed on didn’t magically inflate, and the communication was excellent. Every team member that came into our home was polite, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. They even gave design suggestions I hadn’t thought of, like under-cabinet lighting, which turned out to be a game changer. I'd use them again in a heartbeat!"

"Our experience is identical to what other reviewers shared. And yes, you should run from this company as fast as you can. Do not buy what Abraham shared that the payment must be made when the inspection is passed. Check the Business and Professions code yourself, the payment only needs to be made when the job is completed. It is very COMMON that the job is not even done or poorly performed even the inspection is passed. Here are the issues that multiple families including us run into with this company:: The project was delayed for over 9 months. No one manages the job. He often employs young men from his own Jewish community. They are enthusiastic but had no prior experience. The worse part is that they don't get paid. Two of them even set up a new construction business knowing Abraham will never pay them. Subcontractors can put your house on lien also. Many reviews you see on Yelp, Google, Angi are NOT genuine. Even the references are fake with hindsight, we were given 2 references. One reference shared the exact same accent as the PM. The other reference was initially happy with their work, but then reached out to us and shared a similar horror story with them like what we experienced. You will lose a lot of $$$ on materials as the subcontractors will somehow leave a thousand dollars worth of quartz at home. Maybe they want to compensate for the money Abraham owed them? Let me tell you, reordering materials is not fun."

"Our garage had been collecting dust for years, so we finally decided to turn it into a rental unit. 1 Degree Construction took the project and absolutely nailed it. They were quick, responsive, and made the entire experience stress-free. They provided a clear schedule and stuck to it, with no unexpected delays. "Arie is the absolute best Handyman I've ever used. I need him to fix a couple things in my master bedroom & bathroom. He fixed a plumbing leak that I had - the clean-out that stuck out into my bedroom. He also sanded, patched, and repainted a whole bunch of spots that got damaged on the walls. "I worked with David from So Cal Builders and Design on a bathroom and bedroom addition to my home. We had been through a few renovation projects before so expectations were low, but I can honestly say this is the BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor. If you need work done hire David and his team! David helped navigate the whole process for us from drawing up the plans, through the entire build, and final inspection. As with any renovation project some issues arose along the way, but David's attitude was always "it's okay, we will take care of it"! He was super transparent with everything going on, and was very responsive when I had questions. He also helped me with some design ideas that I absolutely LOVE! The end result is honestly better than I could have fully envisioned, and I truly believe it wouldn't have been possible without David and his team. "We started the process of building our detached ADU at the beginning of 2022. We hired an Architect, who drew up a plan to build a 1200 sq ft, 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom house. After 14 months of waiting and addressing revisions required by the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety we got our permit in “Ready to Issue” status. While waiting for city approval, we all started looking for a fair, reliable and honest contractor who would do good/solid construction. We started the process of interviewing contractors and getting bids for the job. After several meetings and several bids, we met Micky Kanian with “AGA Construction”. We found Micky on Yelp. One of his references took us thru an ADU that Micky and team built for his elderly mother-in-law to live in. This family could not say enough good things about Micky and team. They took us thru the property and explained their experience in great detail. We saw another beautiful AGA project, a 5k sq ft + project that was in progress and really knew that day that we’d found our contractor. We weren’t quite ready to pull the trigger for personal reasons, so we put the project on hold. Meanwhile, we continued to collect a couple of other bids that were already in progress. During this process, AGA kept in touch with us. They checked in every few weeks or so, without being pushy or intrusive. After a delay of about 9 months, we decided to move forward with AGA construction. No one is a tougher critic than me. I was dreading this project because of the amount of stress that I knew we’d be under. Both financially and mentally. We’ve all heard and/or lived thru the horror of a construction project gone wrong. I won’t bury the lead any further. We love our ADU!!!!! We started the project on Jan 31st of 2024. We were told that the project would take 6-8 months. We lost the first 6 weeks or so with the heavy rains from last year, but even with that delay, we were mostly done with the project by the middle of August. We ran into the “expected” unknowns and surprises – all dealt with fairly and quickly by Micky and team. I would like to call out Joachin who was amazing. We always felt like we were in the best of qualified hands during this entire process. All inspections were signed off, the last checks were written, and we now have a gorgeous new home behind the main house on that property. We were so happy with the project and trusted Micky and Joachin so much, that we immediately launched a second project of gutting and renovating a very large master bathroom for my In-Laws. That job started on September 23rd and was done the first or second week of November as promised. It would’ve been done sooner, but we had a little “client indecision” that cost us about a week or two. All in all, I would highly recommend Micky and his crew, and we plan to use them for as long as they are in business or until my family and I run out of projects."
