"The only company that actually called instead of text. Drove to my home the next day. Very personable and friendly. Efficient job performance. Cleaned up meticulously after completing the sandblasting. Reasonable pricing. I would highly recommend this person and company."

"Always go with your gut, I contacted 7 companies and when Mark came out to give me an estimate he was very friendly, very professional, very honest. He did not pressure me and had great ideas to help me with my project. I made a few minor changes and he was so open to the change and never said no we can’t do this or no we can’t do that. Definitely customer friendly. I have some other work ideas I asked him about and he said when you’re ready I’ll do it and no pressure like others I’ve used in the past. I would highly recommend him and his company. He also cleaned up what little mess that was made. My project turned out awesome with no setbacks. Very pleased!"

Emergency services offered

"

We didn't satisfy his initial service (which I believe was just an accident nothing to do with their quality of service), and contact them again and receive immediate positive response to come back to do the service again.  FIVE STAR service !!! Highly recommended. Reasonable price for the additional sq ft.  We have hired multiple people for different types of service needs for the new house that we just recently move in.  None of them can top Concrete & marble Transformerz's service.

"Astronomical service. Before i called cali pros, my backyard looked like a pig sty, yet i couldn’t take the time to clean due to my busy schedule. The work done was nominal, with my backyard looking cleaner than ever before. Highly recommend, 5 star service 100%"

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.

Sandblasting removes old paint, rust, and grime efficiently, providing a clean surface for refinishing.

DIY is possible, but professional services ensure even removal, safety compliance, and proper cleanup.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.
