"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. We are very satisfied with our solar system and I highly recommended Mega Power Electric Inc."

"Efrain did a amazing job. This is my second time that I have had him do a job for me and as expected, he did an outstanding job. He listened to all my details that I wanted in the kitchen. He was very professional and did the job in a timely manner. He had some great prices and put his customers suggestions first. Very happy with my kitchen , which made it more efficient for me, since I use my kitchen a lot to cook and entertain. The granite added the slick finish I was looking for in my kitchen. I would definitely use him again. I am always referring him to friends and family and will continue to. Can't wait to show it off for thanksgiving.

"I hired this company back in April 2022, I’m a realtor and needed someone to take care of a few things in one of the homes I was selling, they came in and in a matter of hours fully painted the interior of the home, fixed a large whole in the wall, performed mold treatment and installed new faucets and ceiling fans. The next day they sent their housekeeper to do a full deep clean of the home as I had requested that additional service they offer. In a matter of 2 days, this home was ready to move-in!!! I was more than happy with their work. Would definitely recommend to any realtor or homeowner looking for renovations and also a CLEAN HOME!!"

"Very professional & called to confirm time & arrived on time. He explained the process & was very thorough. He asked if there were any trouble spots and if they were recurring. He spot treated them & even left a bottle of solution for future use. The whole process took only a couple of hours, leaving carpets very clean & very dry."

"great. He could not keep our initial appointment due to a water heater emergency :( and didn't call, but after we rescheduled everything was fine. He explained why he was doing what he did, did the work, tidied up. Even gave me an estimate on tile work and showed me some photos of his work"

Granite Restoration questions, answered by experts

Yes, stains can often be removed using a poultice paste that draws out the stain. The paste is applied, allowed to dry, and then removed, lifting the stain from the stone.

While DIY kits are available for minor stone polishing, larger restoration projects benefit from professional expertise. A professional can ensure an even, high-quality finish, handle stain removal, apply proper sealing for long-lasting protection, and guarantee the work's durability.

In many cases, it’s worth it to restore stone. Stone restoration generally costs less than replacing the stone entirely, helping to save on the cost of your project while still giving your home’s stone a polished appearance. However, if your stone is very cracked or crumbling to the point of compromising the structural integrity of your home, you may want to consider replacing it. Stone flooring costs range from $6 to $20 per square foot on average.

How long it takes to complete stone restoration work will vary from home to home and project to project. Overall, a professional can complete a one-room project in one to two days. When vetting your local contractors, be sure to ask them how long they think the project will take to factor in any that could speed up or prolong the completion of the project.

Buffing is a less expensive and less time-consuming alternative to other floor repair techniques, but it’s only ideal for removing surface-level scratches and damages. Floor-buffing machines work to gently smooth out the floor’s top layer rather than removing it the way that sanding does.

This process is ideal for gently worn floors, but it won’t have the desired impact on floors with severe damage. On the other hand, sanding fully strips the floor’s top layer so damages beneath the surface are accessible to remove or repair. Since the process is more involved, it requires more time, tools, and experience to achieve the best possible results.
