Needed a new roof and relied on Angie's list. Ocean Seven Builders always came out on top and now I know why. Could not have been easier. No high pressure. Just the facts presented so we could make our own decision. Scheduling was fine, always kept us in the loop. Crew was professional, careful not to damage anything like plants, etc. and cleaned up after themselves after each work day. Love our new roof. Very happy with their service. Highly recommend Ocean Seven Builders.

Cielo Construction CompanyWe purchased our house a while back and we were looking to improve some spots at the house. The first part that we wanted to remodel was the 2 bedrooms (the master bedroom and another room). We wanted to replace the carpet with a new and modern wood floor and to remodel the closet b adding several shelfs and hangers. In the master bedroom we wanted to remodel the room completely by doing our walk-in closet and do a nice paint work and replacing the door that takes us to the balcony. Several companies came over and looked at the work that we want to do and after we completed the ‘interviews’… we decided to hire Cielo construction. Sam from Cielo construction came back and provided us with additional information about the materials, type of paint, closets and the other items. His schedule of work was great too because he included 2 teams of workers at the house and by doing that, the remodeling will be completed faster. His workers did appear each day 5 days a week and worked full time. The remodeling was completed less than 2 weeks and everything was done according to the plan. Sam was very flex with us in regards to the payments as well. He divided the amount by the tasks and it worked out very good for us.The balcony door that we did was wider and added a better noise reduce feature that help us sleep better. The paint job that was done by his workers came out better than we imagined and the color combination that Sam recommended us was good too. Overall we are very pleased with Sam and the workers. They did a great job and we will hire them in the future.- Tanya K.

Powers Building GroupDave, and his son-in-law, Isaac are a pleasure to work with. I would have them build another home for me in a heartbeat. The property location is in a floodplain and they knew what to do. They are experienced, knowledgeable, professional, kind and patient. This was my first new home build and they were so focused on what I wanted and needed. They were great about offering suggestions for things I had not even thought of. SUNSET PATIO & AWNINGThe patio looks great and the crew was good, but there are some imperfections...when they finished the installation of the patio they did not place the roof tiles back correctly, there are gaps which can lead to water damage. Also the metal water slide that directs water flow in the roof is banged up and sloppy and so is the silicone/spackel that adheres the water slide to the fascia. When I called Jay was gruff with me, when my husband called he was good, and when my son called he was defensive and didn't want to fix the problem because "it hadn't rained and there was no damage". Yes, we've had to call several times. Emails and texts weren't answered. The last thing we were told is that it would get fixed when they had another job in our area, we are in Visalia.- Elda P.
