"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."
"We had a big kitchen remodel with layout changes, so we were a bit nervous at first. Ron made the process a lot easier than expected. He coordinated everything and made sure each step was done properly before moving on. The workmanship is solid, and the finishes look high-end. We?re really happy we chose Ocean Seven Builders!"
"Josh is what he says he is...HONEST. I do a lot of my own work on our rentals, but this property is too far away. I could tell right away that I found the right contact to take care of our two properties in the A.V. area. Not only that, he helped me save money on the cost of new appliances, and made phone calls for me to find the best price on replacing a broken window. He couldn't have been more helpful or easy to work with. So if you need help, do yourself a favor and call him! "
"Ezra and his team are Awesome! Ezra is incredibly professional, funny, responsive & communicative and mostly, a joy person to interact with. His team of 4 people were very nice and respectful of our home. They always put covered the areas where they worked and left the place clean We had some major leaks and we had them redo our center patio and front exterior stairs. Ezra's quotes were fair. He ended up having to invoice us for some extra costs but that wasn't totally unexpected since we didn't know exactly what would be there when we opened up the stucco and pulled up the floors and walls. His time estimates were pretty accurate and he only had to go a day over what he initially planned. The work they did was top notch. Ezra spent a lot of time helping us decide on a design. Once we decided and the tile arrived (which, incidentally, takes forever if it's not in stock. They worked quickly. They were very thorough, in addition to that, they always encouraging us to authorize them to do it the right way - not the cheap or easy way. A family friend of us, who's a general contractor as well, was there for some of the work to see if everything is ok and he was impressed with how they did the job. The finished product is gorgeous! "I cannot sing their praised enough. Roofing is a very difficult job regardless of the situation. It is hard work and the conditions when this work was done were difficult as well due to weather. They were on time, they were clean, they were fast, and they were precise. It was a tough job and they did it to perfection. Now, I have peace of mind that if it rains, i have no worries. I would recommend these pros to anyone. "
If it is applied properly, stucco is a durable material that can last between 50 and 80 years, especially with regular repair and maintenance. Things like painting the stucco every 10 years or so will help it last longer. The location of your home plays a big part in the life span of your stucco, too.
One of the most significant downsides to stucco is the installation cost, which is higher than that of many other siding options because getting it to look clean and professional is a labor-intensive process. Stucco can also absorb water, making it an unsuitable option for siding in areas that see excessive rainfall. Finally, stucco can crack and chip, especially in extreme weather, and repairs are not only challenging and require help from a professional who does stucco, but can get expensive.
Depending on the amount of damage, a stucco repair professional can repair your stucco siding in four to 12 hours. If you only have a few small cracks, that repair could take as little as one to two hours to repair. In contrast, if you have an extensive fix, like foundation or chimney repair, you can expect the process to take a bit longer. Always discuss your project expectations with your stucco repair expert.
The best way to assess that your stucco needs repair is to inspect it, both visually and physically. If you notice cracks, chips, or staining, that’s a good indication that your stucco could use some TLC by a professional. Additionally, if you touch an area that feels soft and has a little “give,” you should consider repairing it as soon as possible to avoid further damage, both to additional stucco spots and to your home’s structure.
It typically takes around 30 to 60 minutes for a window pro to replace one window in standard siding types, but a window in stucco will likely take a bit longer because of the density of materials. Custom architectural windows usually require a longer replacement process because of the additional fitting and securing required.
