"I hired Pedro to install ship lap boards on the ceiling of my back patio. Some of the boards that I provided had dried out over time making installation difficult. But Pedro and his crew persisted and completed an excellent job. After the job was completed and at the end of a long hot day they they thoroughly cleaned all of the work areas. I was very pleased."

"All around incredible experience! Devon and his team did an exceptional job of initially surveying all the areas to be pressure washed. Devon took the time to explain the work they would be completing in great detail and was extremely informative. Devon and his team were very thorough and showed tremendous respect, knowledge and professionalism. They showcased commitment to their work, and it definitely showed. I was very appreciative of their communication and the contact and follow-up from Devon was timely and considerate. I would highly recommend them to friends, family and anyone in need of their services. To say I was completely satisfied would be an understatement."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

When you’re winterizing your pool, you need to drain some of the water to prevent cracking and warping from ice. Nonetheless, you should never drain all of the water. Ideally, you’ll lower the water level to anywhere from four to six inches below the skimmer. This will protect the structural integrity of the walls, help prevent your pool liner from warping, and reduce damage from debris.

The cost to repair a swimming pool varies widely, with an average cost around $700. The total expense can range from as little as $10 for simple DIY fixes to over $20,000 for extensive overhauls. Key factors influencing the cost include the type of pool (in-ground vs. above-ground), its size, and the specific repairs needed. For above-ground pools, repairs typically cost between $100 and $700. For in-ground pools, costs are higher, generally ranging from $350 to $2,700. Common repairs include patching liners, fixing plumbing or electrical lines, and repairing equipment like pumps and filters. More complex issues, such as fixing a cracked beam, can cost $6,000 or more, while major projects like resurfacing a concrete pool can cost between $10,000 and $20,000.

Upkeep. Like standard pools, the cost to maintain and service your pool is a factor. However, the benefit of a spool is that it can warm up in as little as 15 minutes, while it may take several hours to heat a standard pool. This makes owning a spool more cost-effective and energy-conscious.

Technically, you can fill in a pool yourself—with the caveat that filling in a pool requires the ability to drain the pool properly and move a substantial amount of dirt, which aren’t beginner DIY skills. If you want to fill in a pool, you’re better off hiring a local pool removal professional.

No, according to the CDC, animals do not usually pose health risks to swimmers, even if one dies. If a pool is maintained well, chlorine should kill any germs left by an animal within minutes. That said, homeowners should remove the animal as soon as possible and clean and disinfect the pool afterward.
