"Our selection of Al's Roofing for replacing our roof was made easier for us by his incorporating our additional projects ( install skylights, replace facia boards, and install gutters) into the job for a reasonable price. They were the only roofer to include interior dry walling into the bid for the skylight installation, thereby offering a complete job, rather than a partial job, as offered by the other roofing bidders. Right from the beginning, Alfredo, his brother, Oscar, and their crew were very professional and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction with each task. Their crews always showed up right on time, and knew exactly what they had to do. As a result, the roofing removal and replacement operation was extremely quick. The quality of workmanship was top notch, and any questions I had were immediately taken care of, without hesitation, thus further building my trust in both Alfredo and his crew. Throughout the project, Alfredo was always available for me to talk with him, and always made sure that both the labor and materials for the additional tasks were available at the appointed time. Of all the various companies that we have employed over the years for both repairs and improvements, Al's Roofing rates at the top of our list for quality, professionalism, and trust. We would not hesitate to use his services again."

"Udi and his crew did a great job removing my old, rotting galvanized steel gutters and installing new OG aluminum gutters. His crew was fast, professional, and on time; Udi knew exactly what needed to be done and his bid was exactly right. When there was a small problem at the end of the job, Udi came right back to fix it and didn't charge anything - that's real service!
I have some old redwood gutters on the back of my house and when I've figured out how to fix my roof (!) I'll call Udi to do the gutter work. Totally recommend him and his company.

"So happy & grateful we had gutters installed by Humphrey’s Rain Gutters here in Carpinteria. We’re very satisfied with their work! Humphry’s was quick to respond, to provide a quote and the installation itself was incredibly fast…and the price was fair. They answered all my questions & addressed my concerns. They took their time to find the exact color to match our roof trim. And it all looks great!"

"After the large windstorm we had here in Lancaster, CA my roof suffered some major wind damage. I called them and they set me up with someone to quote us for the job. The price seemed fair and once I had signed the contract they scheduled the repair for the end of the week. The work was done well, and the employees were very professional. I was pleased with their punctuality, and the fact that they cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend Western Pacific Roofing Corp. to all my friends and family. my rof."

"Marty from Three Star Painting came to do an estimate the following day after i called them. I also had another competitor on Angieslist.com come to do the same just prior to Marty. Marty gave us a great deal for repairing the stucco and painting the exterior of our house (3 colors, main color, trim, and door). His workers came to paint on the day agreed upon, approximately one and a half week later from the day of the estimate. They were professional, clean, and courteous. They took two days to finish. Marty came by after the job was done to revise the work that was done. A few patches need to be repainted (very minor)and he promised to come back to do so. My husband and I were very impressed by Marty and his crew. I have already recommended him to my friend who also needs her home painted. Oh, btw, he definitely honors the angieslist.com coupon. The original estimate was $2150 but with the discount it came out to be $2042. "
The most common problem with gutters is clogs and improper drainage. The most common cause is when surrounding trees drop leaves, blossoms, seeds, and other debris into your gutters. Debris gets wet and soggy in the gutter and blocks the opening of the downspout to prevent water from draining. Even moderate to steady rain can cause water to overflow the gutters. Clean the gutters as safely as possible every spring and fall. You may have to clean them out more than once when lots of leaves are falling over the course of several weeks.
Leaking gutters can cause major problems in your home, which is why cleaning your gutters is important. Water leaking behind the gutters can cause the wood at the edge of your roof and even part of the roof to rot. When gutters and downspouts leak, the ground next to the foundation becomes saturated and can end up causing cracks and water leaks in your basement or crawl space. Overflowing gutters can cause moisture problems with windows and exterior walls.
Gutter installation costs from $4 to $30 per linear foot. Cost factors include linear footage, type of gutter, and material (aluminum, copper, etc.). The number and length of downspouts also impact the cost. Roof repairs are another potential cost. Optional add-ons include gutter guards or gutter screens to keep debris out of the gutters.
Although installing or replacing gutters doesn’t usually add directly to the value of your home, it can help maintain the value of your home by preventing water damage from overflowing or leaking. Aside from the practical preventative maintenance, a neat, clean new gutter system can certainly add to your home’s curb appeal.
Several telltale signs indicate that it’s time to replace your gutters. The most common signs include:
Peeling paint
Standing water in your gutters
Pulling away from the roof line
Leaking behind the gutters
Widening, leaking gaps in the seams of your gutters
Cracking
Sagging gutters
Rusting
Growing mold
Soaking foundation walls
