"Dean called to see if he could come earlier since he had some cancellations due to the weather.  This was perfect for me.  The technician showed up at the newly agreed upon time and explained what he would be doing.  After he finished the job, he showed me the lent that he collected.  It had been several years and he suggested that I might consider having the vent cleaned a little more frequently (about half the amount of time I had waited this time around... so likely every other year or so).  He was very pleasant and the service didn't take too long.  But unlike many other service providers, the technician actually thanked me for having them do the work.  Shocker... a company that actually appreciates their customers...  Dean also followed up via text to ensure everything went well.  I'll definitely use them again and if there is any other service that I need that they provide (carpet ceaning, gutter cleaning, etc), I'll likely call them first.

"I rent my property from another state. So I was looking for someone to do small jobs around my house when they come up. The price was way cheaper than I thought. He was very courteous and professional. I will for sure be using his services in the future. I've dealt with a number of other contractors and this one is by far the best I've seen in the AV.

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.

Sandblasting removes old paint, rust, and grime efficiently, providing a clean surface for refinishing.

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.
