"This was not the first time using an Air Quality inspection company. They were help full, accessible, timely, accurate, and provided an analysis report that included a representative to review and answer questions. They also provided a referral to a remediation company that approached the issue in an efficient and cost effective manner."

"Ryan and his team provided a thorough inspection of my home and located a large amount of termite damage to the outside structural components of my residence. They provided me a c complete, fair and detailed estimate of all the work that needed to be done. All of the work was completed in a timely and professional manner along with an informative, detailed explanation of the work as things progressed. I now have complete peace of mind knowing that my home has been treated against any future infestation and was very happy that I never had to move out of my house for a prolonged period of time as with tenting or other common forms of treatment. I would highly recommend Ryan's Structural Termite Control to anyone seeking long term termite removal and remediation."

"Gabi and Luke were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. It can be stressful finding mold in the house and navigating what to do about it since thereâ s multiple treatment options available. They were super helpful talking through what we were dealing with and helping me understand the scope of the problem we had and what options we had to take to protect our family. Since most of our mold was topical we didnâ t feel the need to take the traditional route of removing all kinds of material but just wanted to properly contain and kill the mold spores that were released in the house, get rid of the mold, and keep repairs to a minimum in the process. We went with the dry fogging method that they provide and we were really happy with the results. We could tell immediately afterwards just how clean the air was and the test results also backed that up. We felt the dry fogging method was really worth it because it would kill any mold in the house that we may not have even known about within the walls or in unseen places. With young ones in our family we didnâ t want to take the risk of toxic mold exposure so we wanted to act quickly. Gabi and Luke helped us get the treatment done very quickly. Throughout the process, I could tell they really did care about the health and safety of our family and werenâ t just another transaction for them. They really go above and beyond to serve their customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for mold testing and remediation."

Mold Testing and Remediation questions, answered by experts

You can find the smell of mold in your house in two ways: following your nose, and using common sense tactics like looking anywhere there’s water first. Mold cannot form in a completely dry environment, which is why you see mold much more often under kitchen sinks than on garage floors. If you have looked everywhere and still can’t find the source, hire a pro, because you may have mold in your walls.

Follow recommendations for removal or remediation to ensure a safe living environment.

Although fiberglass dust is generally not considered toxic, inhaling excessive amounts of it can lead to health risks. Irritation to the respiratory system, eyes, and skin are common effects of fiberglass particle inhalation. While short-term exposure to the dust may only cause temporary discomfort, long-term or chronic exposure can lead to more severe respiratory problems.

Proper safety measures, such as wearing appropriate protective equipment, including masks and goggles, should be observed when handling or working with fiberglass materials to minimize health risks. It is important to note that, unlike asbestos, fiberglass is not associated with life-threatening illnesses.

Mold in HVAC ducts is a relatively common issue that homeowners struggle with—especially in humid climates or homes with poor ventilation. Moisture from condensation, combined with dust and organic debris, creates the perfect environment for mold growth. Homes with high humidity, leaky ducts, or clogged drains are more prone to this issue. Regular inspections and proper HVAC maintenance significantly reduce the risk of mold developing in your ducts.

A stain from a water leak will usually be brown and concentrated in a single area where the water is originating from. You may find it under a damaged section of roof, under an upstairs bathroom, or beneath your HVAC system. Stains from condensation are more likely to be widespread since they don’t come from a single point of water intrusion. Condensation stains also look blotchy and may smell musty, and they won’t be concentrated in a single area on your ceiling.
