Here's why: My job started out with an entry door replacement, evolved into a pantry expansion, and finally finished with an entire kitchen countertop replacement. I was very pleased with how they worked, the materials they used, and the attention to detail in the workmanship. And they were very responsive, communicated well and frequently, and checked in regularly to make sure the job was getting done right and on time. Each of their craftsmen were highly skilled, knew what they were doing, and didn't cut any corners. And each one was friendly and courteous to boot! I very much appreciated their attention to protecting the rest of the house, and they cleaned up the jobsite every single day at the end of their work day. Remodels are disruptive, no matter what. But this was about the least painful I've experienced. I have worked with a lot of contractors. CHI is a 10 out of 10."

Then, after the company gaslit us, instead of training this guy to do the job they advertised their company could perform, they chose to fire the guy instead of cleaning up the mess they created. Even damaged the already installed final product. Gaslit for the entire project. "

My biggest issue is that I brought up issues daily as they came up, was constantly reassured and then nothing was actually fixed.I read the reviews prior to hiring, I looked for a decent company, this project was incredibly simple, turning my existing cabinets white. Apparently, the guy they sent into our home was not a skilled painter (what we expected to hire from a cabinet painting company) but rather a random guy who worked for the company for two months and did not have any actual experience as a painter (he was a carpenter, no background in painting, yet we hired a painting company).
