"Jose and Saul are not your average landscapers. They are well versed in landscape design, cement work, plant and legume knowledge, construction and property management. They have been in my employ for over twenty years. They are friendly, bilingual and timely in their appointments. I highly recommend Sola de La Vega!"

"Awesome, quality professional work accomplished in a timely sensitive manner. Roman understood our needs and that of our over-the-fence neighbors to get the job done quickly. "Flores Landscaping is wonderful. They responded to my call the same day and came out to look at the pump in my birdbath waterfall feature. They tried to clean up the old pump but that didnâ t help so I opted to replace the pump. They did that job at very reasonable cost and within 2 days of calling my waterfall/birdbath is working fantastically! Itâ s been years of limping along with the old pump and I am so thrilled to find Flores Landscaping who finally solved the problem for me. I will be using them for irrigation projects on my property as well. They really know what they are doing, friendly, calm, easy to deal with. I am very excited to have found them. Reasonable prices."

"Cesar made suggestions to complete a partially landscaped yard. He and crew showed up and stayed with all activities until complete. My yard is now safer to walk, completely illuminated and irrigated and beautiful to view."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

Xeriscaped lawns are far more varied than many gardeners initially assume. The often-pictured rocky and cacti-filled landscapes are just one option. Many wildflower-, herb-, and mulch-covered landscapes follow the same principles without straying too far from the lush and colorful landscapes we have come to know. In fact, there are numerous xeriscape ideas for customizing an energy-efficient lawn to your liking.

DIY landscaping is possible, but professional services offer expertise in selecting appropriate plants and designing functional spaces that complement the natural environment and adhere to local regulations.

Yes, adding a pergola can add value to your home and provides an excellent selling point for potential buyers who enjoy outdoor living. Pergolas may have a 50% to 80% return on investment. To add more value, choose a structure made from durable, long-lasting materials and have it professionally installed. Extra features like a motorized roof, smart louvers, and heaters or misters may also give you a better return on investment.

How much 4 yards of dirt will cover depends on how deep you want the soil to be. In general, a yard of dirt will cover 324 square feet for a 1-inch depth or 100 square feet for a 3-inch depth. Therefore, you can expect 4 yards to cover between 400 and 1,296 square feet if you keep your soil depth between 1 and 3 inches.

Before you begin landscaping with rocks, put down a weed barrier or landscape fabric to prevent pesky weeds from poking through.
