"I was promised the job will get done on 2 1/2 days but the contractor who worked on my shower said it's a 3 to 4 day job. The communication with this company is terrible no emails no text to confirm when the contractor was going to arrive. The contractor left my walls cracked that I had to patch it up and the silicon wasn't a clean work it made my shower look like a diy. I will not be getting work done by this company again."

"I had a terrible experience with PHD, LLC plumbing service. I called them when I had an on-demand water heater that was not working. They could not figure out the problem! After 3 visits and $ 950 of charges we discovered it was merely a propane gas supply line was undersized, which I tried to suggest to them initially! Likely a $ 250 fix at most! I cannot recommend this business. They are unqualified to do the job. They are unprofessional, incompetent, and arrogantly rude!!!"

The difference between resurfacing and refinishing is that refinishing only works on solid surfaces that are in good condition, whereas resurfacing will restore a cracked or worn surface to its original, blemish-free state. Reglazing a bathtub can last as few as three years and up to 15 years. With proper application, the recoated surface is as durable as a brand-new tub. Clean your tub properly and avoid using abrasive cleaners to maintain the coating. If the weather conditions were cold or humid during resurfacing or the tub was significantly damaged, the reglazing may not last as long.

The process involves cleaning the surface, applying bonding agents or new veneers, and finishing with a protective top coat or polish.

When buying caulk, look for ones labeled for tub and tile. These have either acrylic latex or silicone compounds. This allows the caulk to stick to smooth surfaces and prevent mildew from forming.
