"I was very fortunate to find E Mays Plumbing. I had a terrible water heater and Eric was the only plumber that gave me a easy to find list of materials at home depot along staying in communication with me leading up to the project. When the job was finished my new installed water heater worked perfectly and there was no mess to clean. Eric also pointed out a issue I had with my washer water outlet box which was leaking and beginning to deteriorate which is likely to save me money down the road."

"First and foremost if i could give Solorios Insulation Services 10 stars i would. The work completed was exceptional. Every step of the job from the beginning bid to the last part of the clean up was better than expected. The work was completed in the time they said it would be and (Jesus) was a stand up guy to have working in our home and paid attention to every detail that meant so much to us. I cannot say enough of how happy i'am with this company. We definitely will be calling them again in the near future i highly recommend them. Thank you!!"

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Vanities may come with a countertop and sink but won’t include faucets. You’ll need to purchase your faucets separately from a home improvement or hardware store. When shopping for a fixture, you’ll have plenty of bathroom faucet types to choose from. Think about your vanity and bathroom aesthetics and what you need when deciding. Single-handle and centerset faucets work well in any space, while widespread, bridge, and wall-mount fixtures work in modern bathrooms.

Natural stone stinks require sealing before installation because they have a porous surface susceptible to staining and damage. Quartz is much denser than natural stone, making it non-porous and resistant to stains or absorption. Because quartz is a composite material, it doesn’t need to be sealed before daily use.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a leaky faucet that’s dripping at a rate of one drip per second can waste more than 3,000 gallons of water per year. This is one reason why it’s important to fix a leaky faucet sooner rather than later.

The cost to fix a leaky pipe ranges depending on location—the easier the pipe is to access, the less expensive the repair will be. Because a leaky pipe under the sink is typically an exposed pipe, this is one of the least expensive repairs for a plumber to do, often costing between $150 to $300 to fix, on average.

The best material to use will depend on your budget and style goals. Fireclay is a great choice but is expensive and heavy. Stainless steel is less expensive and more durable, but lacks the wow factor a clay sink might. Copper is very expensive but lasts a long time and has a striking appearance. Those looking for an industrial look can go with concrete, or those looking for a classic design might choose porcelain.
