Not only did his team address this and install my irrigation & sod project, they did both for a very reasonable fee. Super professional, very helpful, friendly crew. Customer service far exceeds the numerous other landscapers I had by for a quote who didn't even acknowledge the drainage issue. Have already recommended them to my mom as well as friends and colleagues. A++++ service. Will definitely hire them again with any future landscaping projects (and perhaps monthly maintenance!) "Cal Preserving delivers EXCEPTIONAL results. We had an immediate response to my request for a quote. Onsite visit 2 days later, quote that afternoon. Able to start after rain let up in Fremont - 5 days later. Absolute professional prep, treatment, and care by Francisco and Gabriel. Pressure washed our 14-yr old deck the first day - AND the pergola overhead - AND the fiberglass roofing. They ALSO cleaned the adjacent pool of cleaning debris - without being asked! Next day sanded the deck, let dry, returned to apply preservative - which brought out the original beauty of the redwood. Spectacular results. Throughout they protected downspouts, electrical connections, cleaned dirty water sitting in the base of sliding glass doors - and somehow made a squeaky deck silent. (I've walked across it 4 times tonight and there wasn't a single squeak.) Gorgeous result. I will hire this company again - recommend them for any wood related project - and have already recommended them to neighbors. "Eric and his crew were very easy to work with. Eric keeps you in the loop at all stages as well. We had a patio and wrap around sidewalks done at our house, as well as some stair work done, couldnt be happier. He ran into some small irrigation and drainage issues, fixed/reworked them without asking for a change order. Also very professional, brought his own portopotty which allowed us to lock the house when we went home. Eric is a class act and i will use him again when we do more work in the front yard"

"It went great. the salesman David came out promptly to do the estimate.  He quoted me on a couple of different options. I then had to choose the fabric.  All the fabrics are Sunbrella, which is great.  I compared their product to Sunsetter's options, and these are much higher quality (and cost more, of course).  4 weeks later, they came to install the product, they were extremely friendly and professional- it took about 3 hours and they were done.  Very happy with the service and the product.  They stayed in touch at all times.

"I'm a very active Gardener by hobby and have been for 45 years. Because of the drought, I had to shut off the water to our front lawn and big hillside in May of 2022. As expected, the lawn died and 147 the native shrubs I planted on the hillside in 1993, started dying from old age and also from the loss of water. The front yard is fairly large and the hillside is 140 feet long and 15' t.o 25' high from the public sidewalk. These shrubs became a huge wildfire hazard as were the four very large Hollywood juniper next to the house and two very large Italian cypress next to the driveway. The very large olive tree in the center of our front yard was starting to look terrible because of the loss of water and was an main allergy agent for us. I had all of this removed. Seven trees and 147 shrubs from the hillside. The end result was a moonscape appearance for nearly a year. We hired Sampson Landscaping to landscape, hardscape, install lightning and drip irrigation to this large blank canvas. It's done and looks amazing as all our immediate neighbors and passerbys have told us and keep telling us. We are very, very pleased with the job that Sampson did for us. We removed 7 trees but got 6 new ones to replace them. The estimated timeliness was 3 weeks from start to finish and was started ontime and completed in 2 weeks and 2.5 days. We made several design choice changes that added to to the total cost but the job remained on budget in lieu of those changes. We Stronly recommend Sampson Landscaping."

"Rocco and team completely renovated our backyard, replacing a couple of old, cracked, concrete slabs and some dirt/grass with a paver patio, seating walls, artificial turf, a pergola, and spotlights. Rocco was excellent to work with. He was very clear in his communication about schedule, materials, etc and helped tremendously in the design of the project. The only issue we had was discovered after the project had been complete for a few months, when the rains returned. The drainage outlet was too close in elevation to the patio drains, and water was pooling on the patio. A quick call with Rocco got that fixed quickly. The true test of a company doesn't happen when things go perfectly. It happens when things don't go perfectly and how they respond. Black Diamond aced this test."
