After receiving estimate for projected work project, however, I did not have confidence that the work would be performed satisfactorily. The estimate was far too high I feel for the replacement of one kitchen sink ($1,195.00). The serviceman was asked to perform the on-the-spot job of unclogging a bathroom sink. The charge of $155.00 was very high. I had a major toilet clog this summer that required 1 1/2 hrs of labor unclogging a sewer line to the street and was charged only $60.
