"After wour father passed away in January, we decided to keep his home and prepare it for a rental.  As we needed new carpeting and window coverings throughout, we contacted several companies for bids one carpeting and for mini-blinds.
After reviewing Angie's List, we walked into Felikian's on a Saturday morning.  We were immediately greeted by Andre, the manager.  He listened as we explained our situation and then offered to show us samples.  He did not try to up-sell us but rather explained what he thought best for a quality rental property.
We made arrangements for Andre to visit the property to measure the floor and windows.  He called a couple days later and gave us the estimate for carpeting and then mini-blinds.  We returned to see him the following Saturday and paid for the work.  Although I had my Angie's List ad for Felikians, offering no sales tax, in my briefcase, Andre presented us with his written estimate and it already included the no tax offer.  We were pleased.
Andre called a few days later and said that they would be ready to install the carpeting and mini-blinds.  We delivered the keys to him and explained how to turn off the home's alarm.  On the day they arrived to install, our handyman, a trusted friend, was there to do other work.  He called me later to tell me how professional, efficient and friendly the installers were.
When we visited the property a few days later, we inspected everything and were amazed at the qu ality of the products and the work as performed.  Andre and Felikian's Carpeting are outstanding!

"They did a good job. They were here for 5 days. There was a lot of glue residue which took some time  to remove (more than a day) before they could proceed with the refinishing. They seemed very knowledgeable and knew exactly what they were doing. They sanded and also put down two coats of sealer. They also did a wood transition strip treatment between the living room and hall way. I let them come up with  suggestions or recommendations to how it should look. They really did a good job; the floor looks great. These guys seem to be real top of the line, providing good quality."

"John and the staff at Alden's Carpet and Drapes are absolutely the best.  They're friendly, knowledgeable and work to your schedule.   We installed new carpet in two large master bedrooms, a hallway, landing and stairs.  The installation crew arrived at 7:30 AM, moved all the furniture, including an upright piano, had the old carpet and padding removed and new padding and carpet installed and the furniture back in place before 11:00 AM.  These guys are the greatest."

"We cannot say enough how happy we are with the professionalism and work that was done on our home.  First, Brett contacted me and was patient with all my questions and concerns.  At no time did I feel frustration that I was being "pressured" into anything with him.  He came to our house and took accurate measurements and was very knowledgeable about his products and how to  get an appropriate square footage count without a lot of left overs.  He brought samples that exactly matched the requests of colors that we had in mind.  On top of all that, he's just a very nice guy and easy to deal with.
The crew arrived exactly on time on the day as promised, worked for two solid days and finished the job completely along with a very nice clean up afterwards.  We had laminate floors installed along with carpeting on the stairs.  We both have full time jobs and don't have the time to chase after people to find out when and if they are going to show up on time.  It was great not having to expend any energies this way.   Brett took care of that for us and the crew that he had was very polite and professional too.  We loved not having to deal with petty details when our life styles are so busy these days.  it was great working with a true American business and it's the way I will go in the future.

"Positives: Sonny was able to meet me for an estimate on very short notice. He was punctual and professional. He also worked hard to get the carpet out and floors done ASAP while I was out of town on vacation so that it was ready to move into when I returned. Sonny's was also the best of the three price quotes I got. Negatives. After redundantly stating that we wanted a purely matte finish, we came home to floors with a shine. Satin sealant was used when we wanted purely matte. My wife is heartbroken. Also, we came home and found a few doors left open/unlocked."
