"Amazing! From the quote process to appointment to installation. Their price is more than fair compared to other companies, and they are very responsive. Arrived in a timely manner. The installation was very clean and neat and went above and beyond what I expected. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional and personable tv installer."

"We needed to have all the RG59 TV cable in our home replaced with RG6 cable for HDTV reception. This included running cable through the attic and a two story exterior wall drop. David showed up promptly for both the estimate and the actual work. The price quoted was quite reasonable, considerably lower than others, yet the work was very professionally done. David was also extremely helpful in discussing what we needed to have done by the local cable company (whose technicians are not nearly as professional, I might add). The lady who answers the phone at NT Communications was also very polite, professional and helpful - sorry I don't recall her name. I will certainly call NT Communications if I need any additional work done, and I would highly recommend them to others."

"This was for a mid size commercial project! A&H Helped plan and build out a structured solution for our entire Network, including providing solutions for possible future cabling needs (expansion of network). From the start of the project they provided clear direction, understood what our goals were and accommodated our tight timeline. I canâ  t say enough about this team. Responsive! Reliable! Efficient!l"

Satellite TV Service FAQs, answered by experts

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV.

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.

There are a few easy ways to locate a wall stud without a stud finder. First, try knocking on the wall with your knuckles. Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Alternatively, since studs are spaced 16 or 24 inches apart, you can measure those distances from a corner of the room, which will always have a stud.

Determining if mounting a TV on the wall or mounting it on a stand is better boils down to personal preference. TV mounts are an excellent choice for homes that have limited space, unruly dogs, or young children. They also allow you to customize the height and viewing angle more easily. At the same time, mounting a TV on an entertainment center stand offers additional storage space, a place to hide the wires, and fewer holes in the wall. Renters may also have limitations on drilling holes into the wall above certain diameters.

Costs range from $1,000 to $5,000, depending on system complexity and components.

Coax cable connects to your television, modem, or cable box. Look for a female coax connection on these devices. Your coax cable will connect to any of these. The other end of the wire runs to the service connection coming into the house.
