"I met with Vlad.  He was on time and well prepared.   He provided me with a good and detailed FiberCement Siding and Windows Proposal.  The quote was professional and well prepared.  It seems quite competitive in terms of cost.  I haven't completed the purchase of this house yet but once I do, I look forward to working with ADH.

"This company is amazing and did a fabulous job. They kept me up to date with calls as to progress of project. The day of install they got here early and installed the granite countertops that look absolutely wonderful. Even matching best they could to the backsplash. Very wonderful to deal with and they even patched a little hole in my ceiling left by previous electrician who did not patch after installing can lights at no extra charge. They cleaned up and were done all in 1 day. Will hire them for any projects I have in the future. If you had more than 5 stars they would get it."

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

To help your plumber understand your situation quickly and help facilitate your repair, you should be ready with your name, address, whether the plumbing problem is an emergency, whether you tried to fix the problem yourself and the steps you took, and your availability for the plumber to pay a visit.

Homeowners insurance often covers water leaks and resulting damage, but coverage depends on the cause. Leaks from sudden and accidental events, like a burst pipe or storm damage to a roof, are typically covered. However, if the leak is due to a lack of maintenance, homeowner negligence, or general wear and tear (such as an old roof failing), the claim will likely be denied. Some causes, like flooding or leaks from faulty appliances, may be excluded from standard policies. After taking steps to stop the leak, contact your insurance company immediately and review your specific plan to understand your coverage.

A plumber can get to the bottom of your smelly drain and clean it with specialized jets, hoses, and drain-safe cleaning solutions. It is also smart to call in a plumber if you suspect your drain smell is coming from a stubborn clog or even a leaky pipe.

The most common places for water leaks in a home are the fixtures we use most often: the kitchen and bathroom sinks, the showerhead, and the toilet. These components all contain moving parts and O-rings that prevent water from flowing through when the fixtures are shut off, and these can wear down over time and lead to minor drips or significant leaks. You can sometimes employ a DIY solution to replace aerators or faucet O-rings that could be causing the leak, but it’s usually best to call in a professional for a permanent fix.

A standard toilet flange should fit snugly into the outflow pipe and sit level with the subfloor. Installing a new one without first removing the old one will make it impossible to form a seal and keep the toilet bowl bolted securely in place.

However, if you’re dealing with leakage or wobbling because you’ve installed a new type of bathroom tile (making the floor taller), you may be able to avoid fully replacing the flange by opting for a toilet flange extender. Extenders typically come in kits for easy DIY installation, fit over the existing flange, and bring the drain connection higher.
